Going along with the theme of music's healing power, this painting touches on how John Denver's environmental music helped bring awareness to its decay. I don't really like the background: the spotlight should be inverted (thicker end on the guitar). But I like the detail on the guitar! This is mixed media, mostly pen and Copic markers, but also Sharpie, acrylic paint, and colored pencils.

Hear me out, there's so much more to life than what you're feeling now. Someday you'll look back on all these days, and all this pain is gonna be invisible. - Hunter Hayes

A few rough pencil sketches of my favorite character of all time, Captain Woodrow F Call. I like how they turned out.

I had really fun with this one! I learned so much about perspective just by playing around with sketches of my furniture. This is a slightly simplified drawing of my bedroom (<333), drawn from memory, and that's my dog and I. The only differences: my floor is gray carpet, the walls are not stone but light blue, and the poster of the tree is really Kevin Costner's face from Dances With Wolves which I didn't want to draw lol (sorry Kev). Drawn with a pen and Copic markers. A square foot in size.
I took huge inspiration from this song: I’ve built walls A fortress, steep and mighty That none may penetrate... I have my books And my poetry to protect me I am shielded in my armor Hiding in my room Safe within my womb I touch no one and no one touches me I am a rock I am an island

@Wolfical holy cow this second one is incredible. I love the details! Geez, it all looks so good and proportional and aahhh it's just great. The second picture (or poster?) on the left looks like the character in it is popping out a bit because I think the perspective of it is a bit off, and the lower bed frame looks a bit crooked but other than that this is truly amazing. It's like a medieval dungeon, too. And because the room has a cylindrical shape, it's like a tower. I really really like this one.
@Persistence those mess-ups are my punishment for going in with pen before I'm done sketching. I'm too impatient! xD I couldn't figure out how to do the darn bed. I also don't like the tree poster.
Thank you so muchhhh! <3 I'm glad the tower/dungeon effect worked.
