Thank you @LittleLee and thanks @StupidSoup! Do you mean with painting or with pen and markers?

Filled out one of those templates floating around! What stands out most to be here is my acrylic painting skill development. The clothing detail difference between May vs September is huge! Also, by the end of the year I was able to paint black and white peeps with similar realism to that of the January and March pencil guys.
Also, I fixed the backwards music note that's in the September one (I don't read music and didn't realize the mistake until after it was done, okay? xD) a while ago, but I don't have an updated picture for it. Whoops.

Both of my grandpas had/have Alzheimer's disease. Whereas with my other grandpa he became more talkative than ever (and was quite the popular fellow at his center), my living grandpa has become more and more reclusive. He was a man who was always doing something productive - working on a carpentry project, fixing a clock, playing golf, walking his dog - and we can see that it's really hard for him now that he's unable to do anything but sit in front of the TV. He's physically as healthy as a horse, but mentally there's nothing he can manage to do.
Recently my aunt bought him a pair of headphones and a CD player. Listening to the music, he was instantly transformed! He started waving his hands like a conductor as tears came to his eyes. "It's so beautiful!" he said. He even remembered some of the words.
Bam! Inspiration for my next project. My AP theme this year is all about the healing power of music, so hello?!?!
Just like breast cancer's color theme is pink, Alzheimer's is purple. So that's why the brain is painted as such.

Sorry for the double post! Here's another painting I just finished last night. Not the best photo of it.

You say “sorry for double posting” and I’m just freaking out over how amazing this art is!! It’s so amazing, and I love the story behind the first one.
I'm glad you like the first. I was on a tight schedule for that one but I'm happy it turned out alright!
