8 722! Surprised even myself. I'm aiming higher and going for my entire novel, which according to my plan will be about 75 000 words. Then again, what I've written so far is almost twice as long as what I'd planned, so I've got some cutting ahead.

Only 446 words so far, but then again I only found time for 30 mins of writing today. Now I've got some massive typing to do...

2,110 words. That's all. Technically, I'm ahead of schedule, but I'm still kind of disappointed that that's all I got today. Oh well...

Day 1 and I already want to go back and edit. This is going to be a long month.

I tried to write a bit on paper and pad earlier, but it didn't work - as i work better typing.

But this is my first year of NaNo, so it's a big deal if i mess up (in my head).

Any tips on how to recuperate?

Maybe try typing Lorril.Set youself a time to write and then go write.
