I read a book where the main character's name was Moist VonLipwig.
That was a bit painful to read, but it was a satire, so it was horrible on purpose.
Instead, he said, Brother! I know your hunger.
To this, the Wolf answered, Lo!

Colynn Lucas Falon Elmersone

Seriously. I know a guy with that name. WHAT were his parents THINKING?!

And then my name: Aurora Elena Regan Callista Remulus.

I'm not a princess. Nor do I have dead grandparents named that.

And then...
A horrible book I once read; three MC's names were: Alric, Rodrick, and Ryche.
No. Just... no.
And then the villain's name was.... Daemionis. Really? Why don't you just call him Mr. Demon and get over yourself?! Besides, how do you pronounce that?!

And as for flowers names (Rose, Poppy, Petunia, Hyacinth, Chrysanthemum)... unless you're writing a retelling of the twelve dancing princesses.. don't call and girl that.

And finally.....
Marge. I just hate that name.

Okay, here's mine:
Constable James Adam Vert. This was a character in one of my stories. The press like to call him Constable J. A. Vert if they wrote articles on him. Props to anyone who gets the horribly obvious reference I made there. I changed his name to Constable Green, so it's less obvious. :)

So so so sorry for double posting, but I just came across this.

Javert! Les Mis! Constable... J. A. Vert?!

Aspartame Orhigh Fructosecornsyrup.

Both are sweeteners people use because they are cheaper than sugar. Totally a winner. Used in diet coke.
We are who we are, and if someone has a problem with that; that's their problem not ours.

Names with obvious meaning; Harry Potter is a good example.
