Okay, so I've been going over a lot of 'What Would Your Characters Do?' topics, and I just love them so much that I felt the need to post another one. :D So, yeah, basically that's the question: What Would Your Character(s) Do?

Situation: Your character finds out they have an arranged marriage right after they get engaged. :smt003

If this is the same topic as "What Would Your Character(s) Do?" there's no need to post another version of the same game. Helps keep the clutter down. ^^

If this game has a variation that makes it different, then feel free! But, if it's the same, then it's best to stick to the games already posted. :)

My character would lie to the person and their family and say they had to go on a trip to see a sick family member then run away with their true love.
Giving in is easy, fighting for what you believe in is the hard part.

"For a short space of time I remained at the window watching the pallid lightnings that played above Mont Blanc and listening to the rushing of the Arve, which pursued its noise way beneath. The same lulling sounds acted as a lullaby to my too keen sensations; when I placed my head upon my pillow, sleep crept over me; I felt it as it came and blessed the giver of oblivion."
— Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
