Eyes open, glowing
as sunlight dances at dawn;
a nightmare thwarted.

a nightmare thwarted,
white sheets spill onto stained tiles
turned gold by sunrise.

Spoiler! :
Love that haiku, @Starve!
Here for the in-betweens and the left-behinds, the unconsidered,
    the out-of-this-world.

leaving the dust and ashes
that clouded her heart.
I only put my signature on big cheques.

Leave her clouded heart,
one cannot reason with storms,
you can only wait.
maybe i make up colors for poetic cadence, but i don't think i can ever love someone who doesn't understand that teal is a different color than dark cyan

You can only wait
for the snowflake to perch on
your rose-button nose.
Prejudice is a burden that confuses the past, threatens the future, and renders the present inaccessible.

Your rose-button nose,
Ivory skin, cherry mouth,

Daily cold showers
on fields make puddles in grass,
reflecting grey skies.

reflecting grey skies
that hold back tears of nature,
mourning over its loss.

Mourning over its loss,
the perfect raincloud goes pale,
crumbling in droplets.

Crumbling in droplets,
the raincloud smiles through tears,
remembering love.
Don't just exist; live

Remembering love
is a futile exercise;
try and you'll find more.

Try and you'll find more
dust coating the desk surface -
yesterday, spotless.
