It's a metephor activity.

Ok, please excuse my lack of literary vocabulary but:

Make a list of a bunch of regular words, like ocean, shelter, tree etc.
Then make a list of uh, adjectives/adverbs I think? Like, realization, appreciation, vibrance, innocence etc.

Then you add "a___ of____" and fill in the blank with a word from each list. You'ld be suprised how many powerful images you get. Ex:

A shelter of innocence
An ocean of vibrance

Then you can go back and put a sentence or two around them. If you particularly like one or two, put more sentences around it, and form a story around the metephor.

It helped my case of writers block recently, and it just sort of gets you thinking.

Enjoy!

Very interesting. I've heard of that before. It's very helpful.

The most important thing is to preserve the world we live in. Unless people understand and learn about our world, habitats, and animals, they won't understand that if we don't protect those habitats, we'll eventually destroy ourselves.
