It has potential; it's a bit static, but with some good cover art, I'd definitely pick it up.

(Heehee! And Every Man for Himself! is actually the name of a play I'm currently producing/directing, a Three Musketeers spoof. I need to find more titles to put at the bottom of my posts...)

It seems an odd mix of 'painted' - which brings to mind a 'painted woman' - and thief, which strikes me as more than incongruous. But the contrast of the words would sufficiently nettle me into reading the inside cover, doubtless. ^_^

Saints is religious, so I think religion. Fire. Could be anything, Vampires, or the burning of witches, or piros even! But the fact that it is THE fire saints, I think of a group of teens who gained magic powers and now, FIGHT CRIME! And they are saints XD I suppose if I heard something good about it, I could pick it up.

Doesn't stand out too much for me. However, it does put a rather clear image in the mind of what the story might be about. There is a distinct smell of conflict, which is a good thing. :wink:

I would probably pick up assuming it was some sort of comedy book, lol. Sounds good to me. Anything that's 30% more free is worth picking up.

Made me think of grasshopper for some reason. As I know what your story is about, though, I can't really give a fair judgment because I loved your story! I would add something a little more exciting to it though. Doesn't jump out at me.
