Your character feels like a real person and you have imaginary conversations with them... They tell you stuff about themselves you didn't know. Like they prefer cats.

You know you're a writer when you get up a six o'clock in the morning to write before you have to go to school.

You have sudden ideas of lyrics, people, places and things flying from you; it’s your mission to write down them all.
From the wild manila folder of YWS's office.

When the last tree has fallen
And the rivers are poisoned
You cannot eat money

You know you're a writer when you keep a pen and pad of paper on your bedside table so if you get an idea at one in the morning while trying to sleep you can easily write it down. :)
