Before the introduction confuses you: this is a storybook. This is in a fantasy setting. I 'liked' this thread to notify those who follow me, not narcissism :P

so I listened to all of that, but I'm still not sure about this whole plot thing

those who join will start out in the same small town, and they will, inevitably, meet. I'm open to suggestions on what happens after that, really.

What about the classes and stuff?

there's going to be things like fighter, cleric, rogue, mage, and so forth. Fairly straightforward. in the main SB, I'm going to add a list of available races, and a summary of the various classes and so forth.

I'm confused when it comes to leveling up.

Say you're a level one fighter. You go to the DT, and you check the introduction post, which has a list of all available quests, what they entail, and their reward. You complete, for example: review one sci fi piece. You pm me the link to your review, I assign your reward, and it goes in the SB, where I keep track of all the characters in the opening post. The reward is, say: LEVEL UP and SHINY CRYSTAL. You level up by one and earn a shiny crystal. Woot!

last question: what does this being a videogame entail?

It's us, YWSesers, playing a videogame. We may know others playing the videogame, we may not know some. Otherwise, it's basically a SB. You write the post and interact with the world as if it were any other SB.

Any questions?

Wait. I'm still not sure what this is to do with "video games."

This looks like a lot of work. *Laziness is awesome*

I'm in anyway. However, what will be the actual plot to this?

Bessie, you can ignore that detail and still enjoy the Sb to its fullest. Failing that, I don't understand what you mean :P

Omnibus, I still haven't made up my mind. I was thinking something a lot more chill than my usual standards, but not so chill as to be boring.

Going to have a definite idea when I put up the main thing. That might take a while, as I need to come up with all the spells for everything and so forth.

Your concern for the SB is amazing.

Nah, kidding, Latin ftw.
