Okay, so....I'm probably a lunatic for doing this but there's this character I have that's been bugging me to use him lately even though he doesn't fit anywhere I try to put him. I'd like to try creating a storybook as a way to amend that.

As the title suggests, it would take place in a city loosely based on settings from One Thousand and One nights. The story focuses on the doings of certain people dwelling there following the death of the king. A firmer plot will hopefully develop once I see what I've got to work with ;3

So, there will be lots of magic and politics and shenanigans. I'm encouraging characters with a lot going on in order to counter my creation, so this could be a chance to use someone who might otherwise throw off the balance.

Is anyone interested? Or just want to offer suggestions?

Anyways, thanks for reading

I'm interested. Let me know. I'll be around, kinda.

Oh, hey ^^

I kind of stalked you and found this topic (I'm creepy like that, hahah)..
Is it necessary that one actually read 1001 Nights? Because, well, I haven't (even have a good explanation, but never mind now).. And this sounds interesting to me, It'd be nice to join :3

Its not required to have read it! That was just a good way to sum up the setting. I could also say Aladdin and Sinbad. It's that fantasy version of Arabia that shows up in adventure stories.

I would be thrilled to have you :3

In the winter months, snowstorms and rainfall in the Patagonian Ice Fields can drastically affect the landscape. Worsened by heavy winds, such storms can reduce visibility and lead to glacial calving, ice collapses, and avalanches. During these conditions, travel is not advised.
