hahaha yeahhh my autocorrect keeps trying to change Zander to Xander when I'm on mobile, which is annoying since like 90% of my replies are on mobile high-key read through some of the early scenes in part 6 because I was bored and I could lol and holy hecc my typos/autocorrect blunders >.> I am sorry you have to deal with me xD
Spoiler! :
I think in canon I may just make his name be Zander. In high school when I conceptualized this man lol his name was Alekzandyr and some of the sisters knew him as Uncle Alek and others knew him as Uncle Zander and idk Alek feels wrong now that I know him better. And using the 'Y' to replace a different vowel was just pretentious lol we shall ignore my username ... but at the same time I kinda wanna keep the K so I may just stick with it and have all them call him Zander and leave well enough alone lol
The siblings are named, in order, Mikkel > Alekzandyr > Derik > and then they have a little sister that I can't figure out a name that I like. Current top contenders are Rehka or Kilenya but I'm not sure if I love either of those? Open to feedback/suggestions lol but I think I kind of like that they all have a hard K sound as a sort of,,, continuity? idk if that's the right word, but you know what I mean?
I realized this week I need to name Mikkel's wife (Ky's mom) -- current working name is Aleydis, but not sure how I feel about that one, either. I also need to name Ky's little brothers. I know they're twin boys about 7 years younger than her but otherwise, I know nothing about any of them lol issa struggle
The sisters who are my protagonists for my series have all been re-named by their foster families, but I think their birth names would be Eirian (means bright), Arissa (means best), Sofieke (means 'wise' -- and is Ky), and Katima (means 'powerful daughter' -- and is Jerica).
I think I just have a vendetta against soft-sounding names for no apparent reason lol And the only thing I can think of for why is they're vowel-heavy, where my other characters are like Alekzandyr... Derik... Rekard... Jerica... Tadaaki... Kieran... Kaidren... Aerik... Aldik... Jayk, etc lol me and my K names I swear...
