Alyssa | Jungle
Cassie quickly passed out a few minutes later, The strain of walking was too much for her, and so Alyssa and Damien carefully heaved her to his group in the jungle, her head rolling left and resting on Alyssa's shoulder.
Once they reached the group, Alyssa carefully lowered her friend to the ground and sat beside her, brushing her hair out of her eyes. She made sure Cassie was breathing fine, then sighed and stood up to face Damien. "It's gonna kill her when she hears about the crash."
"You think she forgot?" he asked.
"I'm afraid she might have a concussion, with all this passing out. I'll break it to her gently." Alyssa coughed and wiped a hand across her mouth. "I don't suppose you have any water?"
He shook his head and she sighed. "Figured. Oh well. Thanks for saving us, by the way."
"No problem." he grinned, but she could tell his leg was killing him, so she carefully helped him sit down and looked around at all of the people who went to her school, huddled together and terrified. Then she looked up and noticed how the sun was going down.
She took a wobbly step forward and spoke, "Looks like the sunset is almost here. We should all get some sleep. We'll need to start exploring the island tomorrow. Fresh water is a necessity, as is food. We'll need to make weapons to hunt. Some of us need to gather rocks to make an SOS sign on the beach and people will need to keep watch during the day in case anyone comes by. They could be our only chance for salvation. We'll also need to go back to the island and scavenge what we can from the plane. Supplies, items, food.." her voice trailed off and she sighed. "Anyways, you should all sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day."
