"Okay..I thought maybe you thought I was bragging about my powers "

"Nah, you were just telling us about them."

"Okay...I'm sorry then."

“It’s fine.”

"Sooo...do y'all like sparring?"

"Sparring? Is that a type of weapon?"

"Uhh no. Do you not know what sparring is?"

Lilith laughed
“Guess not. Could you explain?”

"Well it's physical training on a smaller scale. We use hand-to-hand training, but we don't get too rough."

“I’ve...never done that.”

"Okay then...what do you do in your universe? And I'm not just referring to training."

"Well, for everyone in general, or just me?"

"Anyone I guess."

“Well, normal stuff. Farming, weaving, playing. But sometimes, everyone is...really frightened. There’s a monster that comes during the night. Every time the monster comes, more and more people disappear. No one knows what happens to them, because they never come back.”

Lilly Pearl finally managed to stand upright, wincing at the pain in her head. Her mind raced to remember where she was, who else may be there, and who she was.
