Peace Through Tyranny

Image

Centuries upon centuries of war have ravaged Cybertron. The Decepticons, by sheer force and brutality, have conquered the majority of the planet. The Autobots' fragile hold on Iacon is threatened every solar cycle by spies from the outside. It seems as if the war will soon be over, and Cybertron's society will be reforged into the image of Megatron himself.

Influenced by Dark Energon, Megatron has become even more violent and cruel than he was in his days as a gladiator in the Pits of Kaon. There are a scarce few that do not fear him; most of his servants tremble at the sight of him. He enforces order among his ranks with an iron fist. Few survive a conflict with him. His lieutenants, Shockwave, Starscream, and Soundwave, suppress (or encourage, depending on the situation) rebellion against their leader.

But even great leaders can't keep tabs on everyone. Some 'cons have gotten it into their heads to branch off on their own. Others, fed up with his management of Cybertron, desert his ranks and roam the planet in neutral mobs. Some even go as far as joining his enemies, the Autobots. And it's getting worse. For whatever reason, bots are leaving Megatron's ranks in droves. What was once an organized rebellion is descending into chaos.

Some are beginning to think Megatron is losing control of his army. Are they right? We shall see.
