June took a glance at Raptor. She still didn't trust him, but he was on her team now. That's what mattered. The creepy laughter shook her a bit, but not enough for Mary's sleepiness to go unnoticed. She took a piece of paper and held it against the wall.

She showed it to Raptor when she was done writing. I can hold her if she falls asleep. Or your arms get tired.

Spoiler! :
@Liberty, do you want to post before I do?

Also, I'm really loving the awkward interactions between June and Raptor right now. :P

Julia's heart dropped when she heard the laughter. Goosebumps traveled up her arms and to the back of her neck. She tugged at the sleeves of her sweater and looked down at Mary.

She definitely looked like she was about to sleep.

Playing forever with a ghost doesn't sound nice, she thought. Ghosts were fake, she knew that, but maybe... that laughter was the laughter of a ghost? If somehow popping from her home to some other place was possible, then creepy laughing ghosts were possible too.

She shuddered visibly. "Let's get outta here please."

"Agreed," Raptor said, giving a nod and holding Mary a little closer to him. He looked over at June and read what she had written. If he had a smile to give, he would have given it - he appreciated the offer. "I'm good for now, but thank you for the offer."

The creepy laughter rang out again.

Raptor stiffened for a second time.

"...We should probably get going," Sabrina said. Even she sounded nervous about the noise; Raptor couldn't exactly take comfort in that. "I don't think it's a good idea for any of us to be here when the ghost gets here."

Raptor managed a nod.

He finally started moving down the hallway again, trying to block out the almost constant laughter that was now ringing out in the hallway. It just kept getting louder and louder-

Something went flying in front of him.

There was a loud shattering sound. When Raptor turned his head, he saw that the window had been broken - and that a chair from one of the desks of the next classroom they were only feet away from was on the ground outside in a pool of broken glass.

Keeping Mary and Sabrina away from the door, he peeked inside.

And found that no one was there.

The laughter rang out again.

But this time it was coming from the room.

June shuddered and peeked inside the room as well. Just like before. Nothing. Except for laughter this time. She realized she'd never told any of them about the desk from before. She quickly pressed the paper against the wall, quickly scratching out her words. Her handwriting was messier than before. She showed it to Raptor, then Julia.

When I first got here a desk flipped over on its own behind me

Spoiler! :
I know you're not going to be online as much for a bit because of Ramadan, @Liberty, but I just wanted to ask before I posted - do you want to go? I can wait for you to come back before I post, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't posting when you wanted to.

Spoiler! :
Ah, no it's okay, I'll post. Also is it okay if I bring in a character who's not exactly a character? Like a cat or dog or some sorta animal who was taking shelter at the school?

Julia raised her shoulders defensively. "Freaky. It was probably the ghost, don't you think?"

She looked at the broken glass. "I thought we could see ghosts? Like, they'd just be some vapor sorta thing," she said slowly. "They're invisible?"
