The Caldarai Cluster is the newest system in which humanity has settled. Its core are small binary stars that orbit each other. There are four "Inner" planets, which are rocky with some form of gaseous atmosphere, separated by a rocky asteroid belt, with two "Outer" planets that are large gas giants. Only one planet is habitable, and the asteroid belt has enough of an atmosphere spread out around it by artificial methods.



There are certain habitable zones within the Caldarai Cluster, although most of humanity resides on orbital platforms, as noted below.

♦ Zenith: The Fourth planet in the system, Zenith is mostly inhabited by UIE, or the United Interstellar Expidition, as it was their project to terraform and colonize the planet. Similar to Earth of the past, Zenith is 29% land at a mostly Temperate climate. There are five orbital platforms surrounding Zenith.

♦ The Dynasty Belt: The main asteroid belt of the Caldarai Cluster, the Dynasty Belt is a safe haven for much of the space pirates and bandits. Much of the Dynasty Belt was created by destroying one of the outer planets that was a massive and rich deposit of minerals. Some say the core of that planet still resides somewhere deep within the Dynasty Belt.

♦ Bovos: Bovos is a moon that orbits Zenith. This houses much of the military of the UIE and acts as a center of command for the entire system. There are rumors that the moon has actually been hollowed out, but the military leaders have not commented when approached.

♦ Quora: Quora is the largest moon in the system and used to orbit the mysterious sixth planet in the system, before it was destroyed. It now wanders aimlessly through the system, loosely following an orbit around the two suns. Recently, it was discovered that Quora holds Quorium, a new and highly rare mineral that is all over the moon. Now it just has to be found. And kept.



♦ Monoco: The first Inner planet. No moons orbit this.

♦ Vorisis: The second Inner planet. Two moons orbit this.

♦ Savathun: The third Inner planet. One moon orbits this.

♦ Corision: The first Outer planet. Seven moons orbit this.

♦ Korakild: The second Outer planet. Twelve moons orbit this.

System Fracture is an event that happened ten years ago. In the Sol System, humanity's home system, the military and government split apart, causing an all out war that destroyed Earth. This was later named System Fracture. In the ashes of the System Fracture, government was destroyed and the military extremely weakened. The United Interstellar Expidition was created as a means of moving on from the System Fracture, as a compromise between government and military. Pirates, once a minute force, spread through systems and became rampant, with the Scarlet Fleet being the most prominent.

♦ The Scarlet Fleet: The most prominent pirate fleet in the galaxy, The Scarlet Fleet has recently migrated to the Caldari Cluster for unknown reasons, just as their leader unexpectedly passed away. Their fleets run through the skies and space with terror. There have been rumors recently that the Fleet has been fractured because of their leader's death, even though their raids and strikes have been as merciless as always. They currently reside in the Dynasty Belt.


♦ The Rebellion: The rebellion is a two-pronged attack against both the UIE and the Scarlet Fleet. Either campaigning for the independence of the Caldari Cluster from the UIE's grasp or infiltrating the ranks of The Scarlet Fleet, the Rebellion is mysterious to both those outside it and inside it. No one knows how long it has been around, or who its leader truly is.


♦ United Interstellar Expedition: The United Interstellar Expedition, or UIE for short, is a joint government and military body that has focused its attention on expansion into unknown territories, as its motto is focusing on the future instead of the past. It has left the Sol System to be ruled by local factions while it focuses its efforts on three different systems, with one being the Caldari Cluster. As such, its operations are limited in the system and it has spread itself thinner than usual. There is still infighting between the pacifist supporters within UIE and the militarized leaders, with disagreements on how the government should be run. It feels like one major misstep can drive the newly fledged UIE to pieces.
