The Marauder Era

Most of us are familiar with the adventures of the Golden Trio in Harry Potter. These adventures were often accompanied by subtle hints indicating that the era of the Marauders, or their parents was just as glorious, if not more. Obviously we never really got more than subtle hints, which left us really quite curious. What was it like back then? How was the world? What did people do for fun? Now it's time for us to go back and see for ourselves!

Obviously, I would like this to be as canon as possible for reading enjoyment, but some fanon where it is needed is definitely appropriate. Keep it fun, be happy and do your thing. You can invent your own characters if you want.
