You are graced with the opportunity of living in the Rejine's court, whether as a noble or serving under one of the members of an elite caste. You get to observe some of the most interesting things to happen in Matredom. Many castes don't even get the chance to be near the court building, so you should feel privileged to be one of the few allowed inside.

Matredom is a technologically advanced society based around castes. Castes dictate everything you do, even how your body develops. The race living here looks human, but looks slightly different and the process of making a child is different. See, the intercourse is the same, but the fertilized ova gets ejected from the body and is implanted into a gel of a certain color based on your predetermined castes, filled with the nutrients needed to grow into your predetermined 'destiny'. The system of castes naturally evolved into the race to make it more efficient, but once the species became a functioning, sentient species, a hierarchy was built from them by the established elites, who were bigger, stronger, or better in some way.

Explanation of the Castes and social expectations
Spoiler! :
The Rejne and Konsorto are both made the same way. They are slightly bigger than the others, and it is easier for them to stay physically fit with less work. Their oldest female child is given an honorary Romanejes title until the Rejne dies, and then the oldest female child becomes Rejne and a Konsorto is randomly chosen from the male children of the Majores, Casistos and Romanejes whom are closest to the age of the new Rejne. If the new Rejne is too young to lead, the oldest Majore will lead until the new Rejne is ready.
The Majores are large and bulky, but not overly so. However, they are also trained by older Majores to be able to fight well, so that they can keep their subordinates in line.
The Casistos' brains develop to promote learning, and then when they are young they are taught about strategy so that it will be drilled in there for later life.
There is nothing too remarkable about the Romanejes. They are taught to be good leaders though, so their subordinates don't step out of line much. The children of the Rejne who are not going to be the oldest daughter are made into this caste.
All Pafilojes are slightly bigger than the other castes, but the Malpurajes Pafilojes are the biggest and strongest.
Glavos are about the size of a Pafilojes, but are trained differently. A Korpo Glavos walks slightly in front of their master.
Both Brikos and Camparas are similarly sized to the Pafilojes, but they are hardier.
Klavarojes are smallish, and are trained in programming, repairing, and electronic-related things.
Mangojes and Puras are a bit smaller than a Klavarojes. They cook and clean, respectively. Many work at the court, and some run restaurants.
Lastly, a Brila Ludilos is the smallest of all. Their hands and feet are small. They are domestic servants, and provide simple luxuries like entertainment, and menial tasks like holding things, opening doors, and serving food to their masters. You have to be in the Elite caste to have one serving you, or you can get one granted to you if you have done something that pleases the Rejne. It is socially acceptable for a Brila Ludilos to walk behind and slightly to the side of their master. A person who is allowed to have a Brila Ludilos can hand-pick their Brila Ludilos themselves.
Generally, the amount of respect you get from people of higher castes keeps going down as the list goes down unless you did something remarkable.
The only castes that are directly chosen to serve a specific member of another caste are the Brila Ludilos and the Korpo Glavos. The specific person they serve is their master, but they are first and foremost ruled by the Rejne.
You can marry anyone up to two castes above your own, but you will remain to be your caste no matter what caste you marry. Your kids will be the lower caste between you and your partner.

Spoiler! :
You can be any caste, but there can only be one Rejne and only one Konsorto. If you want to be one of those, tell me.

Tons of cowering! Plus your name in the summer programme. A custom-designed banner. A cabin at Camp Half-Blood. Two shrines. I'll even throw in a Kymopoleia action figure.
