KILLINGS IN WHITECHAPEL

It's 1888, you live in or near Whitechapel, London, the so called "Red Light district" of London in the late 19th century. Scotland Yard, and every other newspaper worth its salt is broadcasting one thing, the murders in whitechapel. The media have come up with the world famous name, "Jack the Ripper", who has been painted as the sole murderer for dozens of murders across whitechapel.

In real life, most of the murders were prostitutes. Here, it could be anybody. Jack's killings are distinguished by one startling future, mutilation of the abdomen, oftentimes with preserved organs in jars next to the body.

Your role? You know someone, whether closely or not who has been murdered by the most famous serial killer in history. At least, judging by the murder's style and the case of your loved one, that's who you suspect. Your job is to work to find the murderer and stop him or her before they kill again, it could be you, it could be someone close to you. But time is running out, all of England is depending on you and everybody else working on the case to stop the horror occuring in Whitechapel.

FURTHER DETAILS

This is a mystery SB with elements of horror mixed in. If blood and guts isn't for you, this SB may not be the best choice.

This is what you know:
Each murder includes severe mutilation of the abdomen and/or other organs, however, it's been done with a certain amount of skill, suggesting this is an educated and calculating killer

Victims will be posted as character CPs, or in the DT. Participants of the storybook will determine their link to the killer (who they know that has been killed) and we will work together to create profiles of the killed and the potential suspects as well as their family and friends.

RULES

-This SB should be a somewhat temporary one, The planned timeline is 3-6 months, if you join, please know that this will be fast paced and you will need to be able to post at least once every week and a half.

It has a language of its own
It talks in tongues and quiet sighs,
And prayers and proclamations
