Well actually, it's currently a winter camp.
Admittedly it's a well-kept camp. The bathrooms are clean with some hot water, the mess hall food is edible if not gourmet, the five log cabins have two bunks, warm fireplaces, and are clean. The mountain forests are beautiful and snow-covered. But it's still a camp. It's run by the Time Travel agency (whose agents and workers don't actually appear as people- think invisible, unspeaking ghosts). Your character is a Byronic Hero, Anti-Hero, or almost-bad-guy. Someone in their life who cares for them contacted the Time Travel agency and paid for a three-week session in advance, finally putting their foot down on your character's antics. They believe that the camp will do good for Mr.-Grumpy-Byronic. They sent their errant friend/loved one to the camp despite ardent protests. There are ten members attending, and they're dragging their feet getting here, but they're coming. Hopefully coming to camp and making some 'friends' can help them solve some of their life problems... Hopefully. The camp is cold at this time of year, and will soon be sealed off with snow. Already there's a two-foot-thick blanket of white over everything. The forests are secluded and wild, full of wildlife: bear, moose, wolves, and your typical woodland creatures. The woods have a certain untamed, dangerously alluring beauty at this time of year. But the campers had better be careful!
