Life cannot spring where it is not first placed. A flower blooms not where ne'er there was seed...

Na-Gruul's first law of Creation.

It was the biggest,
most significant thing
that mankind was ever made
to forget...

Nothing appears. Nothing will have ever appeared without a creator...

Na-Gruul's second law of Creation.

We've lived under the veil,
Not unlike a protective blanket,
but more and more it appears,
a one way window
through which vile creators peer
at us
their experiments.

Left alone for long enough, life will change, and the risk of inadequacy is high. Therefore, tests must be performed by the subjects to ensure that they are fit to continue as an experiment.

Na-Gruul's third law of Creation.

Welcome to the Test Facility.
Those of you who survive will be returned to your homes.
Those who do not will be recycled.
Your task is to survive for thirty days in the testing chamber.
You will have basic equipment, deemed standard by your caretakers.
Any attempts to escape will be met with swift termination.
Your only chance of survival
is to play the game.

...End of transmission.

The Plot:

You wake up, and to your horror, you are not where you fell asleep. You try to raise your head, but a tingling in your spine hints that your being electrified. You cannot move. You can swivel your eyes, though. It takes you a moment to realize that you are not facing the ceiling, but that whatever you thought you were lying on is vertical. You are strapped down with rubbery restraints, and many suction cups cover your naked body. Around you are several other naked forms, but none of them seem awake. A beeping beside you has been steadily getting faster, more frantic. You guess that this reflects your heat rate.

Suddenly, a door opens somewhere off to the right, with a light hiss. What comes out can only be described as a seven foot tall, albino pale, child, with dark eyes.
"You're not supposed to be awake." It's voice is anything but human, like a growl. "Rest up, now." it mocks at sweetness, before pressing a small green button next to you. You slip back into darkness.

When you wake, you are somewhere else. You are now in the facility.

Spoiler! :
I'm so very sorry... You've been selected semi-randomly by the Ki-Gohrn working over this planet for evaluation. This will truly be a horrible experience, one that hasn't happened for exactly one million earth years. See, the Ki-Gohrn believe on Million to be the perfect number, and so have selected this number to be the number of years to test the designated intelligent specimen of experiment Yorukai (Earth). This experiment is a test to see if the life on this planet has reached a certain level of resilience, no more. Simply it is an academic curiosity, and since the last few tests failed by varying degrees, it is likely that Yorukai will be terminated if it is deemed a failure for a last time.

In the testing facility, you will face environments similar to, in ways, earth wilderness. There will be trees, grass, rocks, dirt, sand, lakes, rivers, and oceans. But the conditions will be drasticly different. Weather will be irrational, climates rising and plummeting sometimes within hours. And, as if that wasn't enough, wild beasts wander the facility, bears, lions, and creatures the likes of which man was never made to endure; horrible beasts, huge, hideous, vicious, and voracious.

In actuality, the creatures are created with specific levels of difficulty with regards to how smart they are, how hard they are to kill, and so on. The more "difficult" beasts will come later on, as part of the tests from the Ki-Gohrn.

Your thirty days of hell begins very soon.

the Ki-Gohrn
Spoiler! :
The Ki-Gohrn are a twisted parody of human form. In fact, it was from their genes that the first cell sprung, programmed for diversity. So it's not surprising that the intelligent species may somewhat resemble a Ki-Gohrn. They are tall, seven and a half to eight feet on average, but height variation exists. Other than that, they appear as children do, with childlike faces and hands, paper white skin and hair, and solid pupils that change color to filter different frequencies of light in order to specify a subject of observation. (this ranges to Infrared and Ultraviolet frequencies.)

Their voices, however, are very terrifying. They have rumbling, deep, throaty voices that constantly overtone to give the illusion of many pitches of the same voice.

That is not to say that the Ki-Gohrn are cruel, or even malicious. In fact, they find a nice place in their hearts for their little experiment Yorukai. They will do much in their power even to prepare the human subjects for their ordeals, by way of trying as best as they can to comfort them. In the end, however, the humans are just lab rats, and some Ki-Gohrn feel this to be the rule. They are scientists, a very academic race.

Their race is timeless. They do not age, and they reproduce only as a ceremonial process when a member of their family dies, so as to maintain the population. They reach maturity in 5 to 17 years, after which they cease to age. If subject to the right conditions, they would indeed be immortal. It is not surprising, then, that they play god with planets suitable for life such as earth, dubbed by the Scientists presiding over it as Experiment Yorukai.

Experiment Yorukai is currently presided over by the Ki-Gohrn Scientists in Facility Y-10-6P

base Y-10-6P and it's crew

Facility Y-10-6P and it's crew(this may be very or not at all important, depending on what you do)

Spoiler! :
The facility is vast, covering the entire surface of an asteroid orbiting the star known as Betelgeuse, in the constellation Orion. From here, you'd be hard pressed to recognize the sky.

The crew to which you will be exposed consists of four scientists, and a lead scientist.

The Scientists:

Lidda: Lidda is the epitome of indiference. If anything, she looks the oldest, although they all look like stretched children. Her white hair is tied back with a red ribbon, which she is often told by the lead scientist to remove during experiments. She is least likely to comfort you. She reports numbers and other data, and seems to say little more. Her job is her job. She does it, and is eager to get it done. She's in charge of Data collection.

Bi-Bo: Bi-Bo is often mistaken for sadistic. In reality, he's utterly fascinated by all things. He's also very intelligent, and witty, and often will try and make sarcastic remarks to nobody for no reason. Maybe he'll have a conversation with a subject in which only he speaks, in the same way a child would talk to a doll if children talked to dolls about work, or politics. He is often reminded not to touch the subjects, since he has a habit of petting them. He's in charge of keeping the subjects healthy and asleep until it's time to let them lose.

Dohlguur: Dohlguur is very serious, grim even. He won't lie to you about your environment, about how you are almost certainly going to die. He is also empathetic; he sees the humans as both subjects to an experiment, and a society. They are far from equal, of course, but still. He will empathize with you, and may even try to advise you. He is also, however, horribly aware of his position as potential executioner. He is in charge of the environment, and will not relent.

Mohld: Mohld is in charge of the creatures. His creative genius is put to the purpose of creating balanced monsters and forms of life. He's the most senior of them all besides the Lead Scientist. It was his cell that gave life to earth. That's how old these guys are. He is closest to the Lead Scientist as well.
f
the Lead Scientist, Joldur: Joldur is understanding, but ruthless. He is cold, calculating, and borderline cruel. He is not phased by the prospect of damning to death many innocent humans in what will be humanities last reach for survival. He's very elitist. He knows that, in order to maintain strength in the galaxy, earth will have to be destroyed if humanity cannot prove its resilience. He does not relish the idea of living among humans as an experiment that succeeded. He looks forward to moving on from Yorukai.

Rules:
Spoiler! :
You ARE allowed to make more than one character. However, this is going to be a graphic, hardcore SB, so if you make two characters, be ready to kill one off.
KILLING: don't kill off characters without consent. Any killings you think should happen can be negotiated in the DT. Again, there will be blood. Characters will die. Step up to that.
Try to avoid gross scenes, fading to black where necesarry. Also, use the asterisks.
