Hello! ThingRed and ThingBlue would like to welcome you to A Dream of Morals. We have some rules and important information you'll want to look at down below, but first we'll tell you what this is all about.

In ADOM (don't you just love that acronym?) you will create a single character. There are some specifications for these characters, which you can look at more closely above the fill-in profile we've provided. In a nutshell, though: your character is a bad kid--druggie, alcoholic, gangster, runaway, or something similar, and they're not planning on changing that anytime soon, for any number of reasons. Then they go to sleep, and they meet two short, freakish little people who take them on a journey through a dangerous, mystical land. Maybe along the way they'll find some friends and some morals--maybe.

Still interested? You've read this far? Awesome.

Plot
The main idea of this SB is realistic character development and relationships. We also want to aim for a fantasy sort of setting, a world that doesn't exist outside of dreams. There should be dragons, elves, griffins, made-up animals, that sort of thing. Our plot is still fairly loose. It's got a beginning point and an end point, so if you ever had a plot suggestion feel free to PM ThingRed or ThingBlue.

Characters
Characters should be some kind of bad kid. There are no specific roles to fill here, so have them do whatever terrible things your heart desires. You may only have a single character and should not change POVs without good reason. It doesn't matter if you write in first or third person. Characters should never be Mary Sues/Gary Stues. ThingBlue despises those with a passion. So make your character flawed, but be sure to give them strengths and unique traits too. Try to be a little creative. Anything in parenthesis below you can take out when you post you form, but be sure to do what it says.

Name: Minie
Nicknames: Mine, Mi
Gender: uncertain
Age: uncertain
Appearance: Minie is a strange, freakish creature that resembles a human being. It's very small, standing at three feet, two inches--including its boots and the top of its hood. Its face is not usually seen, but is narrow and pale, with feminine and equally pale eyes under dark eyebrows. On both hands, its thumb, index finger, and pinkie finger are black. If it were to wear less clothing, it would probably have more black spots. Its hair is short, dark, and kept inside its hood.
Clothing: Typically a bulky gray parka with silvery-blue Oxmaltan fur lining the hood. Its wears gray camo snowboarding pants and tucks the legs into a pair of sturdy, black winter boots. It also has thick blue gloves and a white scarf it winds around its mouth and neck.
Personality traits, bad and good:
//quiet//Mine is a quiet creature, content to let its counterpart, Eenie, speak for them, most of the time. It is a good listener and never passes on information--which is problematic at times, especially when it knows something important.
//passive//Mine is almost impossible to rile, unless you hit certain points. It is fine with watching people fight and fall.
/selfish//Mine is commonly selfish. It will focus only on itself unless given a good incentive to care about someone else. This is possibly the result of living out its life in a harsh environment.
//loyal// If someone gets Mine on their side, it will follow them through thick and thin. It's a follower, not a leader, and is often picky about who it respects, because once it respects them it will follow them anywhere.
//clever//Mine is a trickster and can outthink almost any problem, although it also overthinks a lot of the time. It's curious and likes to learn new things that could help it later.
Strengths: listening, solving problems, making traps, obeying orders, surviving in the cold, tanning animal hides
Weaknesses: thinking about others, hot environments, hunting, its laziness, its weakness
Important points of history: history uncertain; part of the dreaming world
Immediate family: uncertain; it is possible that Eenie is related to it
Quirks: has a halting voice when speaking English and doesn't speak English well, is terrified of dragons, often clicks its tongue when thinking, and never strays far from Eenie's side
Pets: Mo, a male Grafath. Grafaths are carnivorous, small, dragon-like creatures (but not dragons), that reach up to four feet from nose to tail. They only have two front legs and tiny, useless wings. They have three slitted eyes on sharp teeth. They are considered parasites, because they often attach themselves to a larger host and eat when it does, since they have trouble moving themselves around. Mo himself is approximately three feet long and a scaly, gray-brown color. His eyes are dim blue.
Likes: Eenie, Meanie, Mo, snow, Oxmaltan fur, the color blue, shiny things, gray days, sleeping or otherwise lying around, snuggling
Dislikes: physical activity, talking, heat, boredom, dragons, questions on its intelligence, being alone

Name: Eenie
Nicknames: Ee
Gender: uncertain
Age: uncertain
Appearance: Looks sort of like a human being. It is three feet and six inches tall. Has pale skin and short, dark hair and wears a feather from some sort of bird (suspected phoenix) in its hair. Doesn't have any eyes.
Clothing: wears a gray parka with silver Oxmaltan fur around the hood and has gray snowboarding pants. Its boots are heavy and black and it wears black gloves and a black scarf.
Personality traits, bad and good: Eenie is
~Patient~ it will wait forever until an opportune moment comes along it's way, though sometimes it waits too long and things fall apart.
~Challenging~ it will go up against anyone even if the odds seem against it, a challenge is all it ever needs to be satisfied. Sometimes always wanting the impossible will lead to danger.
~Ruthless~ it will do anything to meet the goal at hand and maintain survival for Minie and its self. Which means anyone could vanish over night.
~Demanding~ it requires the very best and beyond from everyone, even its enemies. It gets greatly offended and aggravated by displays of weakness.
Strengths: natural born leader, survivalist, hunting, cooking
Weaknesses: sloppy fighter, blind, cocky, impulsive
Important points of history: uncertain; from the dreaming world
Immediate family: uncertain; could be related to Minie somehow
Quirks: fluent in English, despises dragon-squirrels, twitchy
Pets: Meanie, a female tymer. Tymer's are small (three feet at the shoulder), cat-like creatures with a distinct tiger-striped pattern and front teeth that stick out. Meanie has six eyes two of which are used by Eenie to see from. The other four are dark-colored, and the two Eenie uses are pale. Meanie's tail is also split into three short tufts at the end.

People were created to be loved
Things were created to be used
The reason why the world is in chaos,
is because
Things are being loved,
And
People are being used.
