Imagine: thousands of fairy tales, thousands of bed-time stories, thousands of mythical creatures from a fantasy—all coming to life. Characters that only exist in movies or books walk the streets of the real world with their three-dimensional identity, living and breathing the same air as everybody else in the fairy tale town of Storybrooke.

It sounds like a miracle of a fantasy-lover's dreams, but there is one problem: these united fairy-tale characters have no idea how they ended up in this strange land.

Omniclysm wrote:Just reminding us before this gets on the road of starting this SB, please remember that this is not the show, and should not be the same as the show. The plot may not be the same. We can make it up as we go, if you wish, but do not feel any pressure to stay to the show!

xxx MORE STUFF

Spoiler! :
This is largely based on the TV series Once Upon a Time, but you don't have to watch it to join. The overview says it all; fairy tales of any kind are placed in a magically-created town called Storybrooke.

Unlike the show, new memories and identities are not going to be implemented. Instead, their memories of their past life is at the back of their head, but no one seems to remember how they appeared in Storybrooke. It just...happened. But it really wasn't that bad! In fact, it was as if whoever brought them there also placed a deceiving satisfaction upon them all. They fit perfectly as puzzle pieces and seemed to complete the town as restaurants opened, apartments were rented, and businesses were created.

"But how? How?" was the looming question ahead.
Still, the characters work and live their day in their new lives, only reminiscing into the past like teenage schoolgirls.

Then the disappearances started to happen. First young children were being taken in the middle of the night, but gradually, the culprit took older people who were more gullible and naive.

The question rose again: "How? How?"

Who placed the curse that ripped them away from their homes and into this world? Who is responsible for the kidnappings?

It is time for answers.

xxx PLACES

Spoiler! :
Click here for a map of Storybrooke! (not drawn to scale)

It is impossible to leave Storybrooke. If you try to leave the town lines, you'll find yourself following a winding road that only leaves you to the other side of the town. It is an infinite, closed-off loop, so there's no use in trying to leave. Instead, here are some places you could visit:

- Icee Oil: the only gas station in town, run by Elsa and Anna, and is also known for its delicious snow cones and slushies
- Animal Magic: a pet store and breeding center filled with any household pet and a few exotic ones
- Briar Needles: a local textile shop that guarantees satisfaction in any product, run by Aurora and her godmothers in the woods
- Slippers: a shoe store run by Prince Thomas
- Hearts: an obscure casino and bar run by Cora, tucked away in a dirty street alley
- Treasures of the Sea: a souvenir shop near the docks filled with modern human artifacts, run by Ariel
- The Isles: a fancy restaurant and hotel run by Hans
- Granny's Diner: a popular restaurant and hangout place
- Granny's Bed and Breakfast: a good place to rent a room
- The Rabbit Hole: a place to have a drink, smoke, play pool, and share secrets
- Storybrooke Library: books of everything can be found here, accompanied with a clock tower to look out over the town
- Mr. Gold Pawnbroker & Antiquities Dealer: remnants of the fairy tale's belongings are found here, and rumors have it that there are traces of magic being hidden by the owner
- Storybrooke General Hospital: the only hospital in town, but has great doctors and promises better well-being
- Town Hall / Sheriff Department: a place for order and control is manned at these places
- Park: wide green fields, a few picnic tables, and a playground for everyone to enjoy
- Wishing Well: placed in the park, it is said that the well returns things that were once lost
- Forest: encompassing the edges of town, it is thick in trees and vegetation, and includes a small creek and toll bridge
- Dock: mostly stocked with fishing boats, and overlooks the vast ocean

...and more.

The town has everything you can think of. If your character has a certain type of business, let me know and I can add it into the list.

June 16th, 10:00 am
Cloudy and Humid, 88° Fahrenheit / 31° Celsius

It is a normal day in Storybrooke. Most people are either working, enjoying their summer, or spending their day in boredom doing nothing. Typical day indeed.

Passing the town hall, there are fourteen flyers stapled on the board with fourteen chronological different names and faces:

THE LITERAL LOST BOYS. Slightly, Nibs, Tootles.
DARLING SIBLINGS. Wendy, John, Michael.
NO LONGER 7 DWARVES. Dopey, Sleepy.
WONDERLAND GIRL. Alice
ARROGANT BUT MISSED. Gaston
LOST GODMOTHERS. Flora, Fauna.
MAGIC CANNOT BE FOUND. Blue Fairy
MISSING 'PRETTY BOY' HERO. Shang

People seemed to start disappearing for the two months they've been in Storybrooke, but a strange sense of content and satisfaction seemed to still hold on strong.

But perhaps things are changing. Since the Godmothers' disappearance, concern started to bleed through. People are becoming more aware that something fishy is going on, and maybe if there is one more confirmed missing person, official investigations will start to be carried out.

Rumors are flying. People are starting to point fingers.

Perhaps in due time everything will make sense, but at the moment, it is a normal day in typical old Storybrooke.

OBJECTIVE: Write your first post and interact. Not everyone is a stranger; you'll know some people already like we've discussed on the pad. Talk, chat, work—go through your normal routine. Tread through the waters of this mystery, point fingers, and uncover more clues afterwards.

So excited!
Anna Dronning

I dream of snow.

I don't know why. There may have been a few freak storms earlier in the month, but the past week has been warm. It's the sort of warm that grows flowers and breeds hope into the air and, despite everything, I still can't help but see the desolate nature of ice.

The dreams aren't that desolate, really. There are parts that are good. The snow comes down in my favorite flurry chunks and my cat, Olaf, speeds ahead of me, his eyes somehow adjusting far better to the precipitation. There is no one around. Not a single one of my friends. No Rapunzel. Not Kristoff. Not even Elsa. Like much of my childhood, I am alone.

This is the disconcerting part, I think. It isn't that I dream of coldness instead of relishing in the warmth. The cold doesn't bother me, but the echoes of my voice after I yell at Olaf certainly do.
***********************
I wake up and reach for my phone. My dream slowly fades into the back of my head, but aloneness lingers. I want to see the GOOD MORNING message Kristoff sends me each morning, with his large and clumsy hands. It isn't GOOD MORNING, BABE or GOOD MORNING, BEAUTIFUL but I love it all the same.

My chest deflates when I see NO NEW MESSAGES. Kristoff hardly ever forgets, as he has hours to remember before I get up, but that isn't to say he never does. He just picked a bad morning.

I put my phone back down and lay in bed for awhile longer. I hate mornings, because brushing my hair is a lot of work and I don't feel like the effort. Eventually my stomach starts growling and I manage to pick out a cute dress and barely get through my hair before throwing it into a braid around my head and sprinting to the kitchen.

Elsa, my lovely sister, is already gone at work, which probably means she'll be waiting for me. I pour myself a bowl of cereal, dripping some milk on the floor purposefully for Olaf to lick up. I rush through my bowl of cereal while simultaneously hold a conversation with the cat.

Him: Purrrr...
Me: I know, isn't milk fabulous? I think I may be giving you too much. No offense, but you're getting kind of chubby. I'm just saying, because I love you...
Him: *Coughs*
Me: Oh, don't be like that. You could loose a little weight with a good adventure outside. You love Summer!
Him: Meow.

After finishing my cereal, letting the cat out and praying he won't get himself killed, I shove a few newer crafts in a box and begin walking to the gas station.
It isn't that far of a walk but, like everyday, I'm still wheezing when I get to the door. I'm not in very good shape. Elsa looks up at me as I set my box in the area designated ANNA DOES WHATEVER SHE WANTS.

"Hey, Elsa!"

"Hello, Anna. Did you let Olaf out?"

"Yep."

She nods, and goes back to reading. Even though we are far better than we used to be, there is still an unspoken gap between us, but at least now I can sense the love that fills it.

I begin to take out my wares, though I don't have much to supplement. We haven't been getting as many people wandering around the shop lately. People come in, pay for gas, and get out. I don't know why, but it bothers me. I make less money this way.

Once finished, I go back behind the counter with Elsa.

Without looking up from her book, she asks; "How was your date last night with Kristoff?"

"It was really good. We had a lot of fun running around the park. It was a wonderful picnic, and I'm pretty sure he's not evil."

Elsa rolls her eyes. "I'm glad. Sometimes I worry it'll happen again, what with your giant crush on that guy from The Avengers."

I blush. "We don't talk about Loki."

Elsa laughs, and we go back to our separate activities. I slip my phone out between costumers, texting my friend Rapunzel. I say friend lightly, though I wish I could say it with enthusiasm; Rapunzel is always stuck inside, and it's hard to see her.

Me: How's life trapped away?
Her: You kno, the same. Summer is terrible up here. It's so nice, and I just sit here painting all day.
Me: Maybe I can visit? Your Mom for some reason seems to trust me.
Her: She knows you're crazy. I'm pretty sure she just lets you come over so I'm more tolerable. All the same, I'd love to see you.
Me: I can arrange something.;)

Suddenly, Elsa is elbowing me.

"Ow!" I shout, looking up sharply at her, but my eyes catch what they're supposed to.

Elsa stands. "Sheriff. What can we help you with?"

The sheriff eyes me. "I need to interview Anna about Kristoff Byremo."

What did he do?

Elsa gives me a soft pat on the shoulder, and the Sheriff takes me outside.

"When was the last time you saw your boyfriend?"

"Yesterday. We had a date. He dropped me off at eleven and probably went back home to go to sleep."

The Sheriff nods, looking sad and tired. "Have you contacted him since?"

"No. He usually texts me in the morning, but not today." Concern boils in my stomach. "What's wrong? Sheriff, what did he do?"

The Sheriff pauses. "I'm just checking things out, Anna. He... could be classified under the missing."

"What? No, you obviously haven't checked out all the possibilities. I mean, have you seen him?" I raise my arm over my head. "He's this tall. He's strong!"

As I say this, even, I know that something is really, truly wrong.

I dreamt of snow...
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

---The Book Thief---

Hi, I'm Sunshine! It's lovely to meet you!

Cap'n Hook
Hook pulled a key out of his pocket, put it into the key hole, and turned it quickly. With a click, he smirked slightly, pulled his key out, and opened the door. It was about 10 in the morning, and he had to work today.
Putting his key back into his pocket, he shut the door behind him, and made his way behind the counter.
It wasn't really clear to him as to why they had to open up so early, cause almost nobody came in to get a drink at 10 am, but he didn't question it. He needed this job.
Without giving a thought to it, his hand trailed up to his neck, finding the cold chain that was once given to him by his love, Milah.
Milah.
Weird...usually she would have talked to him by now. Actually, come to think of it, he hadn't seen her since...the 14th, that was their anniversary. She couldn't be...missing...could she? Nope. No way. She was probably out of town again...but she usually only left for a day, or less. What if...what if the old one (haha) took her? It'd make sense, seeing as she WAS his wife before Hook swept her away. So...Rumple took her. He had to of. Unlessthe person who's been kidnapping others lately did this...no. No, it was Rumpelstiltskin.
Not wanting to think of that anymore at the moment, he pushed the thought away.
The change in temperature was weird. Sure, Hook pulled off his sexy leather pirate suit 24 AND 7, but he still got hot, in both ways.
"Care to serve me a drink?" A female voice asked, forcing Hook's head to snap up.
Funny. The doorbell didn't even ring.
"Regina," Hook started, trying to hide the surprise from his voice. "What can I get for you?"
"Red Apple Cocktail," She slightly demanded. "please."
While Hook whipped her drink up, she opened her mouth again, making Hook want to maul his eyes, and ears, out. When she spoke, he heard the devil. Okay, not the devil. He heard Justin Beaver with a more womanly voice.
"You know, I must say, you look good with an apron." You could literally hear the smirk in her voice. And the Justin.
"You know, I must say, you sound like a little girl who takes too many drugs and thinks she's hot stuff cause she knows people." Hook spat, turning around with her drink, and setting it in front of her, smiling as he pulled away.
"Please tell me, how many times did you rehearse that in your head before saying it?" She asked, bitterness dripping through her voice.
"Please tell me, how many times did you re-apply that red lipsticks?" Hook replied back. "It's just not working anymore, sweet heart."
Regina chuckled, tracing the rim of her glass. "As much as I love our little talks, I have better places to be."
Standing up, Regina paid for her drink, and left with a smirk.
Hook waited for the bell to chime again, indicating that she left.
Ding.
He sighed in relief, and laid his head down on the counter.
"As much as I love our little talks, I have better places to be." He mocked her voice, and pretended to flip his hair to the side dramatically.
Closing his eyes, the images of a beautiful, blonde girl flashed through his mind.

~~~~
Today went by quickly, which was good...and bad. Hook was glad he didn't have to be locked up on a good day like this, but he was sad because he didn't have anybody to spend it with. He didn't have his love to spend it with.
The other woman on his mind, other than the mysterious blonde, was his love...Milah.
She was missing, and it was obvious who took her. The crocodile.
Anxious to confront the beast, Hook pulled his key out of his pocket, locked up, and turned away, making his way to the Antique store.
Shoving the doors open, his eyes landed on a pretty brunette, her nose stuck up a book.
"Where's the ol-ah, dark one?" Killian spoke loudly, startling the girl.
Putting her hand to her chest, she acted as if she were holding her heart in with all her might.
After catching her breath, she stood back up straight. "Christ, Hook. What do you think he did now?"
"What I think he did?" Hook asked, completely serious. "It's what I know he did, darling."
Rumple entered the room from the back, smiling. His smile faded when his eyes landed upon Hook. "Why're you in my store?"
"Why can't you accept the fact that Milah does not love you?" Killian growled, glaring at a now calm Rumpelstiltskin.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, Killian. Get out of my store, please. We have things to do."
"You see, that just won't do. I know you know what I'm talking about. So give it up." Hook demanded, slamming his fist down on the counter, causing Belle to jump.
"It is in your best interest to leave, Captain Hook." Rumple said.
Breathing in, Hook closed his eyes, and removed his hand from the counter. "I'll be back."
With that, he stormed out of the door, enraged. He knew, he just knew that Rumple had her. And he would find a way to get her back.
Rumplestilskin
Rumplestilskin woke up feeling like today something was wrong, that never was good sign. Being the Dark One has it's advantages, he always knew when something bad would happen, hte only problem was that he knew knew how to stop it. Of all the days that horrable washed up fool of a captian had to come into his shop, Rumplestilskin never even told Belle about Milah, well he gave hints but never the whole story. That fool had the nerve to even question the idea that HE, the man who helped bare her a son, would kidnap her.
One of these days Rumple thought as he walked past Belle to put up some old amulate of a princes, one of these days that pirate is going to push me too far. Rumplestilskin was a man that most people seemed to fear so getting on his bad side was something that most people concidered a death wish.
"I think you two should talk this out, why don't you be the bigger person, I mean you to need to talk out whatever it is that makes you too so unhappy." Belle's voice dirifted to his ears, he could he the concern in her voice.
"Dearie, your little spat is something that we will never work out. Frankly the happiest moment I have felt being within a mile of his happened when I cut off his hand." Rumple nearly smiled at memory of Hook's face when he lost his hand.
"Darling I know you all can't stand eachother but just try, please for me." Of all the battles Rumple has fought and won, he knew this would not be one of them. He slowly nodded his head in deafet. Rumple then heard the chime of the bell at his store's door, a customer had arrived.
The needs of the many outweigh those of the few. This is why some decisions are difficult to make, but never be afraid to make that leap.
Angie (Maleficent)
I sigh deeply as I looked Anna in her worry-filled eyes.
'It might not mean anything.. I just need to check these things out Anna, a few people have mysteriously disappeared..'
I watched as Anna inhaled deeply, she looked as if she may cry.
'Im sure.. I'm sure he will be fine' I lied.
I watched as Elsa walked over to the door.
'Is everything okay?' She squeezed Anna's shoulder.
'Its Kristoff..' Anna started.
'Elsa, he hasn't been seen since last night'' I explained.
She gasped loudly.
' But he isn't considered a missing person until over 24 hours..' I tried.
Elsa looked me in the eye, hoping for anything more.
I shook my head.
'Thank you Sheriff'..' Elsa started
'Please..call me Angie' I half smiled.
'Thank you , Angie, For letting us know'
'Please.. Ring me if you find anything else' Anna grabbed a piece of paper and pen, scribbling her number.
'Here.. I'll write mine down too, just in case' Elsa wrote her number under Anna's, and gave me a worried look.
' Sure' I tiredly rubbed my left eye.
I watched Anna walk back to her room, and turned to go as Elsa grabbed my arm.
'Please.. Find him'
'Ill try' I attempted to smile reassuringly.
'Ill do anything to help you find him' She said desperately.
I frowned ' I'll text you if I need anything'
She thanked me and smiled, shutting the door.
I sighed deeply as I walked down Storybrooke, noticing the looks people were giving me.
They think it's you. They think you took them. Just because I cursed Aurora..
If only they knew I didn't mean it..
I sighed loudly.
I needed coffee, it was going to be a long day.
Tomas/Apartment.. and then all over Storybrooke.
"Do you take Tomas Windsor as your lawfully wedded husband?"
I smile at the blonde girl standing across from me. Who was she? She smiles and opens her mouth, but instead of talking, some horrible ringing sounds comes from it. I frown, and lean closer to her, about to ask her what was wrong-
My eyes flutter open, and I look for my alarm clock. Throwing the covers off of me, I walk closer to where the shrieking is coming from and sigh when I find it, buried underneath wood scraps, an old banana peel, curtains, and a hammer. I look for the button, because I had forgotten where it was, and find it on the top of the clock. I hit it quickly, and mercifully, it stops. Smiling, I drop it where I found it and go through my daily toilette. After making myself presentable and businesslike, I look through my apartment for the shoes I had been making last night.
After I find them, I jog out the door while pulling my jacket on, headed for Granny's to get some breakfast.
"Coffee, please. And pancakes." Did I like pancakes? I hope I did. What are pancakes...
"Here you go." The waitress sets the food down in front of me.
Taking a long sip of the coffee, I tuck into the pancakes. "Thanks."
She leans her elbows in front of me and looks down. "So, did you hear about Kristoff going missing? They're saying he was kidnapped."
Kristoff? Kristoff who? "Ah... no."
She gives me a theatrical gasp. "You didn't? I was at Icee Gas this morning, and I heard it from the sheriff. Scary, isn't it?"
What's scary? Wait, what were we talking about?! "I'm sorry, I have to leave. Bye!" I toss a twenty on the counter and make my exit.
I make my way across one more street and sigh when I reach Slippers, my shoes store. Unlocking it with my key, I switch the closed sign to open... or wait, did it already say open? I shrug and toss my jacket onto my chair. I breathe in the smell of wood, cloth, and glass... and burnt leather. That didn't turn out the way it was supposed to. I head back into my workshop and start in on my latest project- shoes that changed color. Picking up a blowtorch, I put an apron on over my suit so that I don't destroy it and switch it on. The smell of burnt paper fills the air at once, and I concentrate, determined to get this- at least- right. Suddenly, a thought fills my head. I turn off the blowtorch, my hands shaking.
Did I kidnap Kristoff?
It's not like I would remember if I did.
Spoiler! :
The waitress can be absolutely anyone. I was thinking she'd be an NPC, though.
Let the blood pour down in rivers as the world burns.
Robby whistled cheerfully as he walked through the forest at a lope. It was a bright cheerful sunny morning in the outskirts of Storybrooke and all was peaceful. Robin through off his hood as he left the cover of the trees it was rather hot for him in his Lincoln green cloak and brown kaki like pants. He had bought them from the Briar Needles in the southern part of the forest. That was when he had met Aurora.
Robby could see her face and her head which was crowned by long flowing golden locks. He remembered that she was very lonely looking. She had cheered up a good deal when he came to the shop, but Robin new that she was lonely. He brushed the thought out of his mind.
He looked up just in time to see a car zooming down the street. He stopped dead in his tracks only inches from the edge of the road. He still hadn't grown used to having to look both ways before crossing the street. He just caught a glimpse of the man before he was gone.
"Crazy driver!" Robby muttered under his breath. "I think he needs to take a driving test."
Just then a thought struck him. Why in the world would a man be driving away from town at that great a speed at six thirty? The thought was so odd that he thought about walking over to the sheriff's office, but he brushed it aside. First he would take a walk I the park and head over to Rumple's shop. Maybe he could help fix my bow?
Robin Hood nodded greetings to a few of the townspeople who passed by on their way to work, though only one or two paid him the same attention. It is if they are all so caught up in their own worlds. But that was before he saw the list of the missing ones. Then he understood.
~~~

Ding! Rumple looked up as a comical figure who looked more like a clown than anything else walked into his shop. Though he tended to be more serious, he could hardly contain a snicker as the tall figure walked into his shop wearing a cape of some sort, with a silver clasp, and a bow slung across his back. He quickly regained his composure however and greeted the man.

"Good morning sir. You're my first customer today. Ah...um...what can I do for you?"

"Good morning to you Rumple! My name is Robin Hood. But you can call me Robby. I heard of your antique shore from a friend and I was wondering if you could help me with my bow here. You see the string keeps fraying from the tension. It broke yesterday when I was out hunting."

"Well that's a simple fix," Rumple said with a slight chuckle. "You just go and buy a new string. As a matter of fact in have some right here behind the counter. Oh and you can call me Mr Gold by the way. Here you go. That will cost you a dollar."

Robby fumbled through his pockets until he had pulled out the required amount of change. The coins made a jingling sound as they fell onto the counter. Robby thanked Rumple and headed on out the door. As he was about to turn the nob Mr. Gold called after him.

"By the way, have you seen Hook anywhere around town?" Robby shook his head. "Well if you do tell him that I would like to meet him at the park tonight by the well. I have some...ah...business that I need to settle with him." Robby agreed and walked out the shops door. Hmm. I wonder what Rumple wants with Hook. He seemed to hesitate as he spoke I have an inkling that there something wrong between them. Anyways. I'd better get back to my cabin so that I can eat lunch. With that Robin walked down 4th Street and headed for home.

A/N If anyone has a problem with how their character acted or was portrayed please let me know. I tried to go along with the plot and character personalities as best as I could. Thanks!

Belle

I always knew I could get my way with Rumple, of course only in the right manner. He knows most of the time I am right. He has my heart but sometimes I wonder about it. As I sat reading my romance book I heard someone come through the door, the person had to be angry. It was hook who had startled me and then Rumple came waltzing through the other door. They talked and soon Hook left. "Rumple. My shift at the library is about to begin." I tell him and kiss his cheek before leaving his shop.

As I started my walk to the library, I noticed missing persons signs but as normally, never take the time of day to look at them. Pretty soon I heard whispers and chatter amongst the storybrooke people. I knew what they were talking about when someone said the name Kristoff. Poor guy, he had been missing for days now.

Once I was in the library, I sat at the big desk and pulled out some books that needed to be checked in. My phone beeped, it must have been a text message. "Is this Belle?" the text had said. Being the person I am, I immediately reply. "Uhm, yes, who might this be?"

As I waited on a reply, I walked myself to the basement of the Library where all the old books are hidden. "I just love the smell of books." I mutter to myself as I begin searching for a book by the name of The Scarlet Letter. It was a popular book and someone has it registered for pick up.

A ding at the library door had donged. "Be there in a minute." I yell and fix the books back.

Cinderella

Another disappearance. It was so sad. A terrible thing, really, how people could be. It was as if they had no empathy or conscience. Cindy sighed as she walked down the street, the local high school growing further and further away. Recently, the cleaning business she'd start upon arriving in this strange new town hadn't been enough to pay her bills for the teensy apartment she'd acquired. She needed another job. It turned out the local high school was looking for a student teacher. It would be a perfect way to help out others, and connect with girls her own age. "We'll call you within the week," they'd said, so she had her fingers crossed.

In the past few days, she'd also stumbled upon an old nightclub, and in the spur of a moment decision had to decided to audition for a night on stage. While she cleaned houses well, singing was the one thing she was truly passionate about and had talent for, the one thing that made her feel alive. So she was elated to find out that she had gotten the gig. Still, it was only for one night, and she needed something steady.

Suddenly, Cindy felt concrete touch her heel and paused to see what was the matter. The sole of her left shoe had completely worn out. She sighed. Just what she needed when she had a bill due next week. This was the only pair of shoes she had. She couldn't afford another, but she couldn't walk outside without shoes.

Her answer stuck in her in the face, across the block. A teeny little shoe repair and custom shoemaker's shop. It was a squat building, and looked innocent enough. Still, she couldn't escape the sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach as she crossed the street, telling herself she'd check out their rates.

Cindy opened the door. There was no one in except the proprietor. He was young, and rather handsome. But why did she recognize his face?

"Can I help you, miss?"

"My shoe..."

"Ooh, what happened there?" He approached her, examining in. The way he stood beside her, the twinkle in his eye...it couldn't be.

"Tomas?" she said meekly.

Aurora Thorn

Aurora was out picking berries – at least that’s what she had told Mary, her trusting godmother.

Aurora would weave her way along the path that lead deeper into the forest with an empty basket and a merry hum of a tune. Mary would wave goodbye from the window. Once Aurora was concealed behind the layers of tangled thicket she would cut the path and hurry between the trees until they drew further and further apart. Occasionally she would glance over her shoulder, half expecting Briar Needles – the quaint little textiles shop she lived upstairs of – to be visible there behind her, following her. It was stupid really to think such a thing could haunt a person that way, but Aurora had spent the majority of her life hidden away.

Always hidden.

The small journey to the town would feel like years as Aurora pushed down her guilt firmly to stop it from surfacing. She hated having to lie to her godmothers of her whereabouts, but she was seventeen, soon to be eighteen for God’s sake! She needed a taste of freedom. They couldn’t lock her up all the time.

Being the dreamy girl that Aurora was, she would sometimes lose all sense of where she was going in the forest, needing to stop and regain her bearings. Just thinking about the wonderful things in store for her in the town caused her to drift off in her own world.

Arriving in the town this one humid day, Aurora set off down Third Street to visit her friend, Camielle, at Granny’s Diner. Cami worked there part-time, helping her grandma. The sight of other people about gave Aurora a fluttery feeling inside her stomach. She was so used to being alone. Even though she had grown more comfortable around strangers since her first ventures into the town, part of her still stuttered when saying hello, or drew back when someone reached out a hand to shake. It was stupid, really.

The moment Aurora passed under the lit up CAFÉ sign above the door the sweet smell of pancakes and strong coffee overpowered her senses. Granny’s Diner was quiet at this late morning; the worker’s coffee rush was over and it was too early for lunch.

By the counter Aurora could see Cami bent over, talking to another person. A light, joyful emotion bubbled inside Aurora; her friend was here. That was still a peculiar word to her: friend. She didn’t really know what it fully meant yet. It was then that Cami looked up and saw Aurora standing awkwardly near the front of the diner, taking everything in. Cami gave a warm smile, straightened up and approached her.

“Well, well. Look who decided to show up,” Cami said with a grin. “You want anything? Or are you just dropping in?”

Aurora smiled shyly. “I thought maybe both.”
"It is our Light, not our darkness, that most frightens us."

Prince Phillip

Spoiler! :
I don't know what I am doing here, or where I am in this story. This just kinda came out, and I hope that it is in the right place, and was written as intended.

Once upon a time, there was Me. Before that, the world was empty and cold—and no toothy smiles lit up anyone’s day, and flashes of red capes were absent.

At least, that is what people tell me.

Today I woke up as I normally do: a morning filled with busy plans of doing nothing, a morning I spend sipping coffee—or on hyper days, tea—until I get a coffee-hangover, a morning that demands absolutely zero from me except a seat in an easy chair.

But my coffee becomes c old eventually, and I don’t feel like making another pot, so I grab the most essential piece of my wardrobe—my superstar sunglasses—and hit the roads.

They call this place Storybrooke. Why, I do not know. The entire place seems like one big bore to me. Many princesses who think they can sing like Aurora screech to the heavens—making everyone else hold their hands over their ears or feign polite clapping.

None of them are ever called for an encore. Well, except for Aurora. Her voice is like the first day I met her—listening to the soft chirps of the birds flowing together with the song of the creek as it splashed by. Her voice is—well, you get the picture. She has a good voice.

Where was I before you interrupted?

Oh, yes. Storybrooke.

I wouldn’t call the place abnormal—unless you call the fact that there are winged fairies and pirate captains walking the streets normal. I tell you, why, why would anyone allow a pirate to mingle with polite society? I remain as far from his lot as possible. Sometimes the urge to have a duel with those scoundrels are too much to ignore, and I would get my red sweater dirty.

Don’t even get me started on the red sweater. It wasn’t my idea, but Aurora’s. See, she thinks that the red cape is too ”old fashioned” and that, like it or not, we need to change with modern society. I would have just thumbed my nose at the idea and moved on—my cape is too priceless and perfect, and swishing it as I bow like a gentlemen makes the ladies swoon—but Aurora insisted.

At least I have this comfy red sweater. What do these strange people call it? Oh, yes. A hoodie. However, it can be difficult to swish as. I don’t think Aurora thought about that issue when considering the facts.

My feet find the pavement, and I walk along the store-fronts, peering into windows—and measuring my height according to the other princes in Storybrooke. I believe there may have been one shorter … but he was twelve, so I may have to wait to verify. But I do have this nifty hat to make me seem taller, and the feather in the top is too amazing to ignore. It makes me look like a swashbuckling prince on his way to slay a dragon.

I slew one. Never again. I had to reconstruct my hat from that disaster, picking the feather from the ashes. Aurora keeps telling me that she is trying to avoid Maleficent, just in case she explodes into dragon form again, but I think she likes being rescued. Why else would she have touched that spindle in the first place?

The store front area is as usual—boring. Having acquired all of the perfect clothing already, and the proper attire that befits a prince, I find that walking through the clothing stores can be quite dreary.

Since nothing seems to be entertaining, and since no one walking the streets is of the amusing sort, I decide to find Aurora. Perhaps we can talk about something over a cup of coffee—or whatever. It doesn’t matter. Just enjoying each other’s company—our personal aura—is enough for me.

“Looking for someone?”

I jump in surprise at the voice behind me, ruffling the feather in my hat. After taking a deep breath to regain my composure, I turn around and favor the speaker with a sunny smile, showing every tooth to perfection—even the gold one peeking out in the back.

The voice belongs to Tomas.

Belle

I was just about to put the closed sign on the library door but I stopped, I just had this strange feeling.

The air felt chilly and I walked to the basement, there was definitely someone or something down there. I slowly walked down the stairs,

"Who is down there?" I yell from the second to top stair. A little girl showed her face to me and I felt relief. "What are you doing down here?" I ask her with a smile. She retreated behind the stairs. I sat on my knees and put out my arms, she ran into them and I slowly picked her up.

"Wow you are so beautiful." I tell her and she smiles. I bring her up the stairs with me and lock the doors. "What is your name hun?" I ask.

Her eyes sparkled, "Mia." she answered. "What a beautiful name." I tell her and sit her on the counter. "Where is your parents?" I ask. She shrugged and jumped from my hands. "Where are you going?" I yell to her.

She ran to the table and hid under it. I couldn't help but smile. Before I could get to her, there was a knock on the library door window. I turned to look and it was a lady who was crying.

"That's my baby!" she yelled once I opened the door. Relief spread across me. She ran to Mia, picked her up, and ran back out.

My day was definitely full of surprises today.

Cap'n Hook

Spoiler! :
This is actually kind of short, but I didn't really have much time, cause I'm trying to get homework done WHILE writing THREE POSTS for three different SB's. Also, BEWARE: HOOK FEELS ALL OVER DIS JOINT
I tried to dig into Hooks mind, and write down how I thought he thought, if that makes sense.
Tell me what you think, please! I really do appreciate people comments.

The soft breeze pushed the leaves around, making a beautiful scenery everywhere Hook looked. The way the sun shined bright, it reminded him of the smile he saw in his dreams. The smile that belonged to the blonde girl, with the red leather jacket.
Hook took a sharp turn around the corner, and breathed in a sigh, letting it out with a loud huff.
Who was she? Why was she there, in his mind? What did she want?
Questions soared throughout his mind, and he ended up stopping in the middle of the sidewalk, raising his hands to his face so he could stop the constant questioning that filled his mind. "Stop it, just, stop.." He mutters, trailing his hands down, and off of his now calm(er) expression.
A few passers stared at him, wondering why this man, dressed in a leather pirate suit when it was 92 degrees outside, was holding his face, whispering to himself.
He looked back up, and continued on, caring not what others thought of him.
His mind trailed off to his anger, then anger he felt when Rumple denied taking his love. The anger he felt when he stepped into that terrible place, the place that was owned by his arch nemesis.
It wasn't always easy, Hook coping with the fact that he was the reason they hated each other. He stole Milah. But it was okay, because she wanted to go with him. She wasn't happy with the old one. Though, Hook hadn't known that they had a child together. More less, Baelfire. Oh...oh, Baelfire. The boy whom he came to love, like a brother. The boy who filled the space in his heart that once had belonged to his brother, that was killed by Night Shade in Neverland. Liam. Captain Liam. His brother.
Maybe Hook could've done more. Maybe, just maybe, he could've been there. Could've kept Baelfire safe. He could've kept his brother safe, if he would've known that Night Shade kills. But at that time, he couldn't have. He was mortal. He wasn't as wise as he was now. He didn't know the ways of Neverland, more less anything about anywhere except the seas, the ship, and the stars.
Killian shakes his head, and tries his best to forget the brother who could never be forgotten. Tries to erase the images of the young, lost boy. Tries to remember what it was like to have a brother, or something remotely close to having one. Er, another one, that is.
But he can't. He sees the dwarves around, all so close, all so full of life. Then there's him. The man who nobody knows a lot about, because he holds everything in. The man who is known for his rivalry with the dark one. Or, more known as, Mr. Gold. Hook has tried to open up to people, but it's not something he can do. Physically, and mentally.
But it's not something he really wants to do, because the thought of telling someone everything about himself, what hes been through, how he feels about certain things, it's not compelling to him.
He's just someone who likes to shut people out, and not accept any help when offered. He prefers to do things alone. But, with Milah, he didn't have to do anything alone. She was always there for him. She always comforted him, made him feel better. With Liam, he made Hook feel special. And with Baelfire, oh, poor little Baelfire. He looked up to Hook, as if he were somebody special that he couldn't live without.
But little to all of their knowledge, he couldn't live without them. And he didn't. But he did. He got through with the mere thought of them being with him. He imagined that they were all there, everyone he lost. He imagined that he was happy, and nothing ever could change that.
