I think this storybook would make more sense if the characters were shape-shifters. It would explain why they have the attributes of their normal form while they are in the form of humans. Having shape-shifters also makes sense if there is a hidden magical world: it allows the magical creatures to covertly spy on the humans as well as manipulate them into thinking that there are no such things as mythical creatures.
Another suggestion would be to abandon the idea of a facility in Rome or Antarctica, and move it to a single facility in the Amazon Rain Forest. It is a pretty location and it might be one of the few large areas which man hasn't completely conquered, while still being habitable to the majority of the creatures involved.
I'm looking at adding a character, but I wanted to know what you thought of the suggestions before I began working on a profile.
There you go, I changed it up some and sure Griffin you can join just let me know what you want to be and when I get back on I'll put it in with character slots.
I'm in mandatory need of at least 2 scientists before I start.
A neat twist of shapeshifting might be that the longer you spend in a given form, the harder it becomes to change back. The various members would have to periodically switch between those forms in order to maintain their ability to transform.
Panda, I find it that you say it's time to start and that who ever wants to go post first can, and then you post first. I also find it surprising that your post is so short.
