Mage =/= Sorcerer/Sorceress. Not exactly the same thing. I believe that should actaually be more like most magic-users are trainees. Mastery of magic would take most of the Mage or Sorcerer/Sorceress's life, hence they are always still learning. Also, mage is used more often because of certain stigma towards sorcerer/sorceress, mage often being the less questionable side of magic and sorcerer/sorceress tending to be labelled as questionable and often forbidden ways of magic. Gotta love world-building.

Probably. It's just that, for me, mage isn't linked to not nice when I see or think of the word, whereas Sorcerer or Sorceress makes me think of crooked magic-users who won't hesitate to hurl a curse your way. XD

I guess it's a matter of perspective, but what I said above has, in this universe, come about because of the deeds of past magic-users. And let me tell you; it wasn't always pretty.

So, if you add up all of the years I put in my history, I think my dragon is over fifteen thousand years old (?). Don't hold me on that, but she's very old XD

Ita, you're characters are actually only a couple thousand years older than my dragon, and if you count whenever your characters to the form of man, than my dragon's older, but we're both weak XD

Also, your characters no a lot more magic than mine does, but it doesn't matter if we can't use it :P
