I'm alive and happy to start whenever!
Do you think we should all negotiate each character's relationships between one other, or just work out 'who hates who' and 'who likes who' as we go along with the story?
Also how long has this 'end of the world' thing been going on for? years? months? days?

Okay, so figuring out the whole relationship thing now sounds pretty good because (knowing my luck) they'll all just end up happy family (which is nice but kinda boring, and just a tad unrealistic)


Tell me what you guys think in the case of who would get along with who, if you have any ideas. (not completely sure that that made sense but hopefully you'll get the jist.)

Anyhow as for how long the end of the world has been going on...
Well when I came up with the idea I was kinda thinking years? So that the people going on the journey remember the "real world" but, you know, only just.
Maybe somewhere between 10 to 20 years (because that's about how old as everyone is...)

All that out of the way, we get to start tomorrow... by which hopefully everyone else will be on board.

I can't wait to start this.

This is a poem by one of the lovely writer's on this site who goes by the name of Rosan. The poem has a similar (if not the same) theme to what we are going to write and I thought I'd share it with all you guys for inspiration or something like that haha.

Curse

A spell will be cast
to call the devil forth.
The ice will melt down
in the south and the north.

Beasts will die out,
plants will decay,
humans will be left
to live and betray.

Those who exist
will live on their kin
with no other choice
but to carry the sin.

The heavens refuse
to accept those who lived
for they can no longer
be saved and relieved.

The dead will arise,
be prepared for the worse.
Pray to the lord
to rid the bloody curse.
