Innocent Blood

The time of Darkness shell return to the people of Nyron.

The Kraken has awoken from its prison by another following in the ways of the dark magician.

Battle between good and evil will reek the lands till all whom live within become blood driven.

Only gold and silver can save Nyron and reunite the clans for a one final battle, a battle which will not be forgiving.

Rules:

o Killing of others characters or controlling them so that they are out of character is not permitted within the storybook.
o Swearing or cursing to an intermediate level in denied to all players.
o Visual romantic scenes are not permitted, though romance is allowed. Fight scenes however must be visual.
o All character profiles must be fluent, as detailed as possible and lengthy.
o 150 words to each post, grammar and spelling must be accurate.

Name: Raena "Rae" Carmen

Age: 16; the younger twin by one minute.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Shoulder length autumn brown hair that flicks out at the bottom. She has aqua highlighted brown eyes that are very large and wide. She stands tall (5'8), with a slim figure and tan complexion. Rae doesn't like the idea of wearing skirts and dresses as her parents fondly wanted her to wear. Instead she wears tracksuit pants and a normal plain shirt, with a cap concealing her face.

Status: Twin Sister.

Magic: None at the moment.

History:
Rae lived in an abusive family, where her parents were constantly fighting and working their days away in the business life (Her mother was a lawyer and her father a miner). Rae relied heavily on her twin brother for most of her life for comfort and friendship.

Because she hardly had anyway to relate to (but her brother) she became a "loner". Rae never talked to the kids around her, or the other adults that reached out to her when she was younger. In result of this Rae was left alone to be with herself for most of her life.

She would always run away from her parents with her brother, with plans of escape and refuge. Although, none of these plans ever worked. When the day came and her parents divorced, Rae was relieved to be leaving them for the summer.

Likes/Dislikes: Rae has always liked the idea of wings and flying. It is why she took up bird watching. She lookes up to her brother heavily and will do anything to make sure he is safe. Rae doesn't like screaming or shouting, and she doesn't have a great fondness for her parents.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Rae is very clumsy, and though she may be flexible, she cannot take a step without stumbling. Rae is rather smart; able to think up fast plans on the spot though acts dumb and dimwitted. Rae cannot fend for herself, neither does she have any knowledge of the great outdoors. She also lets her emotions get the better of her, fear and anger mostly.

Up for love:Yes.

Other: Rae loves sports, though she often isn't good at them. Rae likes the idea of martial arts though she never tried it. She has some knowledge in spear throwing, though that is what her brother taught her when she was younger.

Name: Estyneeanlo [Es-Tee-Nee-AHN-lo] (Est) fel Triba
Age: 117
Gender: Male
Appearance: Est has long red hair that spikes at the top but flows down past his shoulders to stop in straight, choppy ends. His face is full, with a stubborn chin and high cheekbones that accent the hollows of his eye sockets. Est has dark green eyes contraire to his being the Prince of the Royal Family of Faeries--suggesting the rumor that he is indeed not a true heir. His eyes appear all knowing and quite knowledgeable, even for his young Fae years. He is extremely tall at about 6'2" and towers over most normal folk (meaning humans). He has a slim body, tones arms and legs, and a smooth stomach neither hard nor soft. His ears point. His wings spread two arm widths wide on each wing when he opens them. They are multicolored, with swirling patterns of red and blue along the edges. They are rounded at the edges, but not all connected.

He wears mostly dark clothes, and has several piercings on both ears. He also wears a simple black collar around his neck with the crest of the royal family hanging on the back instead of the front.

Species: Faerie
Status: Faerie Prince
Magic: Est's main power lies in the Earth and it's greatness, though he can tap into some powers of fire at times when he truly needs it. He can fly great lengths.
History: Est is the third in line for the Faerie thrown. He is neither too important nor too insignificant to not hold some standing in the Court. He is at the beck and call of his two older brothers in case either of them decide to make him a Crown Prince when they are crowned, but generally he feels they just want someone to suck up to them. Because of their busy schedules, he is also the slave to the Princesses of the family, used to being dressed up and cooed over because of his good looks and natural instinct to run away whenever they call.

Despite all this, he's lived a pretty luxurious life. He's used to those doing as he wishes, and he knows how to get out and be on his own as well. When he has time, he slips out of the castle and hangs out with the Common Fae, who, frankly, are interesting and useful. He spends much of his time in the forests and woods, speaking with the Woodland creatures and learning more and more about his own magic. He has loved and been loved by many. Over time, Est has gained a hefty experience about things that occur in Nyron, developed an arrogance as well as a compassion for the lands that will soon be his.
Likes/Dislikes: Est likes the happiness of people and the general peacefulness of things around him. He hates for the earth to be abused by those who have no appreciation for the things around them. He hates hypocrites. He hates people who claim to be weak. He hates the merciless Dark Fey and the other Dark creatures who wreak havok on Nyron--Fae democracy or not, it's just a personal dislike of them. He hates being chained down. He hates feeling useless. He likes being in power, being on top, feeling a need, and not being confused or used.
Strengths/Weaknesses: He is a strategist and has a mental map of Nyron and the strengths and weaknesses of most areas. He has an emphatic side for many and can be quite a softie if things come to threats. He is quite rebellious at times when things don't go his way, or the way he feels, and will do whatever it takes to do what is right. He has a weakness for young humans, the grounds on which they walk (harm it, you harm him), and being surprised. He is quite graceful, walking and flying, though. Not a great conversationalist though, and has a short temper to match.
Up For Love: "Darling, only if you're up for love with me," he says.
Other: Est is superb at Archery, moderately good at close range swordfighting, and can't do anything with staffs to save his life. Long poles? No. Stay away from Est, he'll whack himself with it. He keeps a full quiver of arrows of the best quality that won't fly any truer than when he shoots them, and a used but clean and strong longbow with him at all times. There's a dagger concealed in his sleeve at all times.

Name: Kimichi Rin Balon
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: She has long grey/black hair that she always keeps in two pigtails. She's about regular height, standing at 5"6 and has long legs. She slim and weighs 123 pounds. She has deep black eyes that reflected dark purple if they catch the light. She likes wearing skirts and long socks. Her shirts are almost always t-shirts.

Status: The neighbor.
Magic: None yet.
History: She was born in a log cabin somewhere in the forest. She was home-schooled and she's never been around any others except the nice old long just down the path, the twins grandmother. When she was 12, her parents died of the flu. They could have gotten help if they just left the confines of their home and went to see a doctor. But they didn't. At the age of 12, Kimichi was all alone. After that day, she often visited the twins grandmother. After a while, she started to address her as grandmother herself. She never went into the city, she picks her food from the trees and bushes and often gets food from Grandmother.
Likes/Dislikes: She likes to read and study nature. Ever since her parents death, she's been known to sit around in the woods and watch nature take it's course. She loves to draw scenic pictures. The animals, trees, the sky, rivers. etc. Grandmother often brings her nature books and she just about knows everyone plant and it's purpose. She's never without her journal or her drawing pencil. She keeps the pencil tucked safely behind her ear. She hates crowds, being that she's never been out in the open before. However, she is not uncivilized, she learned manners and such from her parents and Grandmother. She also hates loud noises, she's used to things being calm and quiet.
Strengths/Weaknesses: She is very silent when she moves around, learning that if you're too loud animals will run away if you're trying to draw them. She's also and nature expert, she knows everything about the forest and its belongings, minus the magical part. She is always thirsty for a nice helping of knowledge juice.((Haha, that was so corny.))
She jumpy and timid around large groups of people. She gets nervous in crowds and freezes up. Basically, any thing with a capacity of over twelve people, she gets nervous, jittery, shy, and scared.
Up for love: Yes.
Other: Her weapon of choice is any rod, heavy stick, or something related to a sword. She loves learning and will often ask questions about anything she feels important enough to know. She also likes to listen to music, an CD player Grandmother gave her on her 14th birthday is never absent from her presence.

Name: Delse Ark’Likv

Age: 132

Gender: Female

Appearance: Medium length, midnight dreaded black hair coming to her breast line. She has a small face, with high cheek bones, a light green complexion and gaunt black eyes that look like pebbles. Delse is considered a shot troll woman, her height averaging 7’6 with an hour glass curvy figure. Her large ears stick out with stretchers at the top of the ear lobe. She usually wears normal leather trousers and a yellow linen shirt, with a long white cape bellowing behind her.

Status: Troll Traveller.

Magic: None. Delse is afraid of witchery, and curses all who use it.

History: Delse was born in the darklands into a family of eight. Being the youngest she got the most attention from her mother. Her eldest sister, a very jealous woman troll didn’t like it that Delse was prettier then her sending her out into the woods when she was three years young.

Delse grew up in the refuge of a wise owl teaching her how to fish and hunt. She didn’t get on with the Brownies, though learnt the language of the trees. She would steal clothing and supplies from fae who went to deep into the forest, and use them for her own beneficial needs.

When she was sixty-three she left the woods with the owl in search of a new life. She was immediately thrown into a world of turmoil as her mother recognised Delse when she was selling items for a poor lady. Delse was brought into the care of her family yet again, though this time with even more love.

Her sister didn’t like this and tried to kill Delse one evening. Instead of dying, Delse ended up killing her sister and was banished away from her family. Moving back into the forest she found a tribe of trolls who took her in and taught her how to fight properly and the way of their people.

Likes/Dislikes: Delse is a rather scornful person, who over the years gets irritated rather easily. She doesn’t like brownies or her past family because of the way they treated her. Delse finds humans intolerable, and would rather poke her eyes out with a fork then look at one. She cares for her new tribe, though hates the “Bastard” she is arranged to married. Delse’s love goes to the white and yellow spot owl who looked after her in the woods.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Delse is extremely strong, very good at wrestling and taking down opponents with her war hammer. She is very tactical and has the ability to understand tracks and the signs of animals around her. In other words, Delse is a phenomenal hunter. She is very smart stuttering most of the time in her speech, and often will attack or hit someone who looks at her. Her temper in brash and wild, and she isn’t afraid to speak her mind.

Up for love: No, she already has an arranged marriage.

Other: With her owl, Feather and her large war hammer Delse is a force to reckoned with. She has a heavy accent which often charms other trolls she passes. Delse doesn’t know any particular fighting style, but to wrestle. She can easily throw three people over her shoulder before they even register what has happened.

Name: Austin Carmen

Age: 16; the older twin by one minute.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Messy dark brown hair that reaches just under his chin. Austin's eyes are the same as his sisters; large aqua highlighted brown eyes. He has a tan complexion and is around 6 foot. He always wears ripped jeans and likes to wear ties with shirts. Although he wears the ties in a loose, casual way. Austin wears a baggy black coat over whatever he wears. He looks rather messy really, but he likes it.

History:
Austin and his twin sister, Rae, didn't get all that much attention as children. Austin grew up in an abusive family and a very unhappy one too. His parents were constantly arguing and he was extremely glad that they eventually got divorced.

Although Austin is only a minute older than his sister, he feels very protective over her. He comes across as a very confident happy kid, but he's just hiding his anxieties so he doesn't worry his sister. If anyone even thinks about being rude or mean to Rae, Austin will immediately stand up for her.

Austin and his sister would always think about escaping from their parents. He would always come up with plans on how to do so in his head. The plans that they did try though never worked.

He makes friends easily but it takes him a long time to trust someone because of his past experiences. When someone does gain his trust though, he feels very protective over them. Because hi sister is rather quiet, he does a lot of the talking for her. Although, this can sometimes really get on Rae's nerves.

Likes/Dislikes: Austin's biggest dislike are his parents. He was never close to his father because he was more interested in music than sports. The only sport like thing he enjoys is spear throwing. He doesn't like planning things, he just likes doing them. Although, if he does plan something; he has to do it. Austin loves music and is always listening to it or playing it. He's very close to his sister and likes to meet new people.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Austin's main weakness is the fact that he acts before he thinks. His sister has always told him to calm down and think about things, but he finds this hard to do. He isn't the smartest of all kids but he is very brave and comes up with good ideas. Austin is a very good liar but because of this, some people never believe him, even when he is telling the truth.

Up for love: Yes.

Other: Unlike his sister, Austin doesn't enjoy sports. He's not terribly bad at them, he just doesn't get much of a kick out of them. He also uses the word 'Wow' an awful lot.
