I have a question

What are the secrets supposed to be exactly? Just info that the character knows? Is it info that could be used for blackmail? Could anyone give an example?

The secrets could be anything from aquiring stolen documents, witnessing criminal actions, or just knowing something that could incriminate Richard Parker in some way.

Pretty much anything that could get him thrown in jail and/or killed.
