To me, Zel's new post doesn't quite ring with the rest of the storybook. It's an awesome post, I just feel you rushed it along TOO far. The group's been traveling all of like five days, maybe a week maximum. The chances of meeting Zel's master out in the middle of a storm are pretty slim.

Here's my idea.

We take Zel's post and save it for later. After this night spent in the cave(Fand and I actually have a rather important event to write before the group leaves the cave), the storm clears and the group can travel unimpeded. I think someone should write a post that summarizes their journey. Two weeks of travel to get to the mountain Zel's master lives atop. Each character should be mentioned, maybe a couple of specific events that transpired during the journey. But I really think we need to make it evident that time has passed, and they've covered ground.

If no one else wants to make the post, I'll do it, of course, as long as everyone agrees with the idea.

Thoughts/Volunteers?

For theatrical reasons, I won't have Alden wake up and try kill Dreffan. This is probably good since it has all ready been done.

Also, if I should die tragically in a giraffe accident, then Jenna should inherit Ria's character. She's got her character down!

*Goes off on a tangent*

Go ahead and do your thing guys, I think the rest of us are just waiting to see what happens with Finn, Seraph, and Dreffan.

*Edited for insight*

Lovely insight, Grif. Thanks.

It's very, you know, pointless and random and totally contributes to the discussion at hand. Kinda reminds me of Bush at a the debates.

Actually, you won't have Alden wake up and kill Dreffan because it's against the rules. Furthermore, were Alden to make a move on Dreffan, Seraph would appear in a demonic portal and mount Alden's head on his trophy wall. *rolls eyes*

There is no reason to get nasty. I'll write the transition post when you and Fand are finished with your scene. I think it will be a lot of fun.

Or edit it. Whichever. Just be sure you save it for later, it's an awesome post.

EDIT: I was going to jump into a big explanation about how we don't introduce huge plot elements without first going through the approval of the group, but I realized that I do it all the time, and telling you so would be uber hypocritical.

Just be sure you post in discussion with your ideas before executing them, okay? You won't step on as many toes that way.

Are we sure we want the master we just happen to be looking for to randomly wander into the cave we just happened to spend the night in?

Why not? Zel spent most of his life training under him so his personality had to come from somewhere, right?

Hey guys, sorry I've been away. I've been Uber busy with school and work. I'm back now. (For a little while at least). I'll try and make a post tonight or tomorrow.

Valin needs to react to the arrival of the master--since he knows Seraph best, he is the best choice for questioning the master about him, yes?

Since I don't know much about Seraph because this is actually the first storybook of the trilogy that I've been a part of, I think it's best for one of you guys to control Master Quinn during the questioning. But, if you have trouble with simulating his personality, just remember that's he's like an older version of Zel.
