Heya, just wanted to check if this would be okay:

I was planning a 'wild wacky route' for Siang Yi to take to the school. Could I say that Siang Yi lives around the Border Plains and she decides to take a shortcut to Ludus through the Borland Forest (let's say there was an abandoned underground railway system running through there, and she's taking advantage of the path of trees that were cleared for the abandoned project. why would they be clearing trees for something that runs underground? idk, maybe to reduce the weight, lol) Then just for extra detail at the tourist information centre she goes to look at the map, this is the long route that she chooses to avoid: Crabden -> Dolion -> train through Borsch -> Anwir -> Ludus

Does that work?

Yeah, that sounds good, Lim! There are a few small towns and rough roads in the Borland Forest (see the third map), but it would definitely be possible to have an abandoned underground railway system there too. And avoiding that long route makes sense. Best of luck to Siang Yi! C:

Hey, @Spearmint? Do you have the orientation speeches planned?

I do not. XD I think we brainstormed that there would be demonstrations from two teachers, and I've partially written the message from the Deputy Headmaster, but most of it is unwritten for now haha.

Woop second post is up! A bit long, sorry ^^' Hmm I was thinking one consequence of Siang Yi avoiding the tourist guide's help would be she falls into a sinkhole somewhere along the line? Though I'm not sure how that would fit into the pacing overall. Might just start the next post with her getting out of the sinkhole if everyone has made it to Lyndira or at least Ludus by then.

Edit: also, I could write a little something for the demonstrations or one of the speeches if needed? I'll pop some ideas in the pad in a bit c:

I caught that goose mention xD and no worries about the length! ^-^ As for the sinkhole, I'm thinking we can have another round of posts before orientation, so as long as it ends with Siang Yi getting to Lyndira, I think it's good. :] Also, I love the ideas you put for the demonstrations! :D

Ah, after another long Siang Yi post she's kind of ready to *be* at the orientation. Maybe I'll skip over to her bursting into the auditorium at the beginning of my next post, and finding an empty seat next to whichever characters are already there, like Pren?
