So, first things first-- who would like to be our captain? I'd be happy to take on the role if no one else wants to, but please let us know here if you have any desire to be captain! (Even if you're not sure you'll do well-- we can figure something out, like dividing up the responsibilities or something!)

Second, we should probably decide on method(s) of communication-- are you all more comfortable with this OOC thread, writerfeedpads, discord, or something else?

The rest (like plot and characters) can be figured out once we get these two down! C:

I'm totally up for you being Captain!!! As for communication- I think discord or writerfeedpads might be nice for quicker communication.

Hi! I'm fine with anyone being big captain and I can't do discord but if y'all want that the most then we can do it ill just try to keep in the loop a different way. But anything works really. And sorry for not being able to do discord I just am not comfortable with using it I'm sorry😣.

yup, that's completely fine! I'm more used to using writerfeedpads for yws things anyway ^^

Quick note for you all~ The competition starts on January 31st, so I think it'd be great if everyone could add some plot ideas to the wfp by Thursday, January 13th! Then we can work on a general outline (and hopefully finish it by January 20th?), as well as create characters. After that, we'll just get some logistics done (like posting order), and then be ready to set sail! (This is a super-rough plan, though, and definitely open to change! ^-^)

So, most urgent thing: pop some ideas into the wfp, and we'll try to decide on one (or combine a few) by January 13th! C:
