This is totally not a parallel universe where Daph's parents never died...

so I was looking up activities for a cruise and thought that it's reasonable for Olivia to drag Jack to a dance lesson lol

but this would totally be a reasonable interaction post if someone else (:eyes: @ moira) were interested in that lesson! there's a million stuff to do on the ship otherwise though

this is low key kind of torture for writers... spending five posts on people important to their characters wHO WILL NOT BE ALIVE NEXT WEEK AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

Posted! Big sad for Moira and I hope you're cool with my direction @Carina! I know we talked about not wanting to force interactions, but this feels organic, like they have a moment but neither of them is super interested at the time because Jack is married and Moira is making eyes with the Irishman.

Also, @HarryHardy, Susan acts veeerrrrry young for being 19 -- If I didn't know that's how old she was supposed to be I'd guess maybe she's 11 or 12 years old if that. I can see that being intentional on your part, especially if she's studious and been sheltered from the rest of the world but I'm curious as to how you're writing her thusfar.

Yaa that's actually what I was going for...giving her that 12 year oldish vibe of someone who hasn't really had anything more than the minimal interaction with people her age. She hangs mostly with her sisters who are around that age so she's kinda used to being that way. And her parents also treat her that way. And this is mostly just her missing her family and babying up to her father. She's a bit more mature around strangers.

Also idk how I forget but @Carina...YESSS....why did we think torturing ourselves like this was a good idea again?

Totally @Elinor! I can't imagine they'd interact that much so if you don't mind I might break the don't-control-others-characters rule for my next post and write up some short replies I think Moira may say. I'll run it over by you on discord beforehand though

I'm tryna post everyday so I can take a breather on Saturday and Sunday... let's see how far this goal will last every week lol

@HarryHardy well you def did a good job portraying her innocence and naivety! I totally envisioned Susan to be super sheltered (but with a happy healthy family) so she has this ideal rose-tinted vision of the world. BOY OH BOY WILL THIS SHIPWRECK SHATTER THAT

Susan will have to grow up faaaast...poor girl, she's the most innocent character I ever created and she's gonna get the second most tragic backstory (Daph's is the most tragic). Ahhh...she'll get there. (I feel evil now.)
