I'm absolutely ready to get started! I'll text @EvieEcco as well to see if she's anywhere close to being finished.

We've accepted Kritanta and Virgil, @winterwolf0100 and @EvieEcco.

We assume Virgil was either the infiltrator (pretend to be member of the manor staff to learn things about the vault/security), or a distraction (use Chanter "magic" to lure away any guards or whatever)
Since everyone was hired to do a particular job on the original heist (i.e. Emile was the lock expert, etc) :)

Also, we'll try and get our post up tonight

Hey, are people interested in a discord server? It makes it easier to keep up with some of the messages for me personally. I can set one up if people are. It wouldn’t be required or anything, just an option. : )

We'd not say no. We'd still post in here as well, but a faster paced server like Discord could help conveying minor details better :) (also, I'm just proofreading the post one of the others write up, so it ought to be up by sometime tonight still) ~M

We finally posted! Had some internet issues, so we had to rewrite the post on our phone notepad to get it posted, but yeah :)

Btw, this is the map of the city the story starts in. (and basically a much more detailed version of the map Ber gave your characters at the end of my post). It's in the spoiler.

Spoiler! :
NeketakaMap.jpg

At the moment, everyone in Periki's Overlook (Red arrow), which is basically the "touristey" area, with the Bathhouse, Watershaper's Guild, Archmage's manor, and all the expensive shops. The symbol in the top left is the flag for most of the city (the exception being the Brass Citadel)

We eventually need to reach the harbour (Blue Arrow), but for now, your characters are free to be introduced in a massive fantasy city (you can really write almost anything. This is just to introduce the characters)

About the areas:
Queen's Berth- mostly citizens, traders, and "normal" people. Base of a Trading Company is located here near the docks
The Gullet- the poor people, lowest caste of the city (and criminal heart)
Serpent's Crown- home of the Palace and a few high ranking mansions
The Sacred Stair- where all them temples be
Brass Citadel- the military outpost of a different empire that is in the city

Awesome post! I love it! A quick question, did you mean for Kritanta to be referred to as a man? It’s cool if you did and your character just thinks she’s a man before realizing she’s a woman but I wanted to make sure

Oh scheize! We had completely missed that we misgendered Kritanta :P But now that you mention it, that is definitely something Ber would do (We get the feeling Kritanta will have to correct him a lot in the future)
In the context of why he would do it- it might be because in Vailian (his parents' culture) religion, the Usher is represented as a man, and as a priest of Berath (which includes the Usher) he probably just sees Death Godlike + Usher influence = male Godlike.

(But seriously, we'll try and not make said error again xd)

Okay, first of all, who names their dinner? I don't want to know my dinner's name. This potato--is this potato named Steve?
