It ended up being way longer than I originally wanted it to be, so the next posts definitely don't have to be that long. I also completely forgot Nathan had a fun little underground cavern they could chill in, so I guess they have their secret base now. >>

i could go, but maybe someone who is more apprehensive about being superheros might wanna take this one, cuz mari is gonna be like "YES JANE, GREAT IDEA!!!" which isn't surprising development lol

Way too late but I only just had time to read it...aaand, that was great!! I love the ending when Nate has no choice but to say "oh yes". Also the secret base is awesome

As for Daph...well she's probably going to go full geek mode if the idea of superheroes is dropped for coming up with names and costumes...in the actual fighting she might get second thoughts...but that comes later so she's in for now...

Thanks, @HarryHardy! Writing Nathan having to lie 24/7 except when he's grabbing onto Jane's arm or hugging her is way too much fun. And the secret base is actually something I recycled from a story I wrote little snippets of in sophomore/junior year of high school, so I'm happy it can get some love now. <3

And I love the idea of Daphne regretting the superhero thing after she actually fights. That sounds like some great angst. >>
