Like the way this is working out. The others have the final confrontation - which Maggie would have derailed - while Maggie gets some vital clues. I think they should all meet up again when they enter the next illusion, since Maggie won't really want to go back to the group and they won't have much to add to it anyway other than dragging the whole thing out and just having one more character to juggle in that scene.
So I say Maggie goes to the edge of the illusion, sees through it, and gets swallowed up by the mist again to find theirself in the next illusion. Meanwhile, you guys finish up this one - take your time, I'll follow along - and move along to where Maggie has already been trying to break the illusion because they'll know right away that it's theirs and will immediately want to escape, not confront whatever's waiting for them in the place they know will probably be the location of whatever confrontation the mist has for them (I have something in mind, I'm just keeping it vague for mystery's sake).
This leaves Maggie out of the final here, but I'm fine with that. It's about time for a break from form anyway.
It's okay, @TheMulticoloredCyr! I love how you described the rock creature - I think you perfectly captured what I had in mind. And those last three sentences sent chills down my spine when I read them.
Also, I love how Hades is trying to help Annabeth overcome her fear and Kaz just misinterprets as Hades having no plan for how to handle the Fouke Monster.
i.... this is actually hilarious that u say that cause i only had modern au adult elias be a nurse because i thought it was peak irony that he help heal other ppl when he can only heal himself in canon LOOOL
BUT he still has his bs doc background (but nerfed a lot because he's a teen lol) so yes yes def in character for him to give a check up also because he's too scared to do anything else lol
HOENSTLY tho i feel like he's more likely to go after annabeth esp bc kaz strikes me as someone to go ">:( TIS BUT JUST A SCRATCH" so
