@XxXTheSwordsmanXxX, I love how you showed Richard trying to deal with Ariana's death - from the little I've seen of his character, it really seems to fit him. I'm also a sucker for characters using mundane activities as an escape from grief, so your post definitely was a fun read. :)

@Jaybird Thanks. It's appreciated. I was going for the idea that he does want to grieve...but right now everyone else is needing that and someone has to be keeping an eye out for them to survive. I'm hoping to have Richard be a foundation support as things progress. I sort of see everyone taking a different aspect of Arianna, each trying to fill the void that has been left.

I've made the executive discussion to nix Saruka from this SB - nothing against her personally, just a decision based off of her lack of activity. So, that leaves Jay and Sword and me, as Raven excused themselves from this a bit ago. That means it's my turn to leave a reply, which I will soon; just wanted to let you all know.

I apologize for the belated reply, but I wanted to read the new post before I replied here. I really love how you wrote Jaylin! It's been awhile since I first came up with their character so I don't remember my original plans for them, but your version of Jaylin definitely fits how I want to write them now.

I'm going on vacation from tomorrow to the first of January, so I'm not sure how soon I'll get my post up. I'll either get it written when I'm in the car/hotel room, or get it done when I first get back.

(I'm off from school until the 21st of January, so I'll definitely be able to get it done right after we get back.)

What's our plan for our second round? Also, what's the plan with Kayla and Margaret? Are they going to be NPCs for the rest of the storybook, or do you have a more dastardly scheme for them?

Not going to lie - my first guess was that we'd kill them off because it fits the mood of the storybook! :P

that's a good idea!! :) . it would add more drama to the SB and express the reality of the danger to the other three kids.
as for the plan, I'd say that we begin to show signs of danger. maybe there's some sort of "secret room" that ari had that the kids find that's keeping tabs on the activity on earth? we may have them discover that there's a potential threat to their well-being.
in that case, we may kill off Margaret and Kayla in a different round.

and I'm so glad you like how I wrote Jaylin <3 I'm trying my best to express the other characters in the way the writers intended. thanks so much for giving me that opportunity !
take your time with your next reply, by the way. It's no worries!

Oh shoot, I am so so sorry!! I must have missed that it was my turn, I'm so sorry!

It's all probably for the best, though, I might have been able to reply, but schoolwork had been so heavy on me at that point that it might have cost me my grades if I did decide to take the time to reply. Again, my apologies, I feel really bad that I let you guys down :(
