The Prophecy has fluxed, revealing a Relic from the past to aid you in your journey. Something so valuable cannot be given freely, however.

For something to be given, something must be taken.

False idols have paved a path. This path is rooted in vines and thorns that corrupt any higher path to one of forgotten ideals. This is just the start. The further from the truth, the lower the crown stands. How low does it hang now? Remember.

This challenge has expired! The number of posts that qualify for this is impressive, and the length of them was even more so! Although, @Chaser, it looks like you can claim some credits, so you should do that. (Otherwise, Omnom can just claim them for you.)

Ah, one more thing. Apparently, credits awarded per challenge aren't allowed to exceed six (let's actually limit it to five, for now, as the discussion among the staff is still ongoing), so the point per thousand words, while totally deserved, isn't strictly allowed to continue indefinitely.

Also, what are our plans after my post? I didn't even fully realize the last posting order and we blew past that one lol

okay just gonna poop my ideas here which i also put in the pad

FEEL FREE TO ADD/EDIT/CHANGE/SUGGEST THINGS this is just me trying to compile ideas we had in the pad and idk

Ideas for after this post:

Tyri Post:

-The port is surrounded by military ships
-Mythica announces that she will start bombing the city until the fugitives are given back under her command < this they could hear more about while shoppin in the city
-Paimon hides them in her father's house, but maybe it's broken from the fighting beforehand?
-Still, they hide w/Paimon fam in what is left of the house and recover. Errybody getting bandaged up and resting for a moment
-Tyri is probably the least banged up i think, so she volunteers to sneak out into the city in disguise to get some much needed supplies
-Either Railyn or Paimon volunteer to go with - I can see Paimon, maybe
-2 gals head into city in disguise and pick up things, maybe some of this can be timeskipped/summarized but we can compose a shopping list of things they def need to get. i assume the others would give them some of their money to make all the purchases
-Maybe they have a close call on their way back to the others where they are almost recognized/caught but dont get turned in? maybe someone like, kinda subtly defends or distracts for them and gives little wink
-They return to their paimon parents hideout with all the things[tm]
-Errybody like ooo new stuff retail therapy LOL
-ANYWAYS
-They try to figure out how they will get out of Nua, they need a ship
-They either decide on fisherman ship or important ship

Paimon Post:
Somewhere in here need to mention them going to island becuz of bluecough rumors and tie all that in idk

-Sneak thru town down to docks w/supplies
-Boarding the ship, either sneaking on and u know, mutiny, or uh, they make friendly w/captain - if the latter i feel like the fisherman one would work better. Also would be more chill in vibes and i can appreciate that
-Finally get out to sea
-Errybody can finally chill out for a moment becuz they didnt get caught and are AWAY from Nua and all that now,,, yesgood
-Maybe calm cute and/or soft moment with paimon and the others idk

Eli Post:

-eli seasick on boat. is sad. has moment with paimon and bel tryna help him not be seasick and he ends up crying in bels arms! sad
-idk timeskip and mealttime and they see island in distance
-any other little interactions we want to happen on the boat IDK
-get to island

Dunno how to fit this in >>>> Omnom's Idea: The reason why the port is getting cleared is because the artifact is from Shurima. It was stolen for the Queen, and the royal guard is there to make sure of its secure transport. However, the ship itself never makes it to port, only its escorts. And Tyri and Eli research why. They board one of the ships, and everyone on board is dead from bluecough. This sets up the next arc nicely, as they go to the island.

everyone is so banged up... SPEAKING OF - do we have like, a list of wounds lol so we don't lose track of who's hurt where? like, at least, significant ones

I know Bel got banged around a lot in general but if there's anything specific that would affect him it'd be helpful 2 know ASIDE FROM ALL THE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA YOU KNOW

Also I loved Ivern helping Railyn out and them finally being able to communicate, and how not-like-a-baby Ivern talks, haha

I just read through all the new posts and they're AWESOME

I love all the action and the angst was heartbreaking fun to read too. Nice to see Railyn developing his powers and Ivern's name for him is very cute.

Also, poor Bel is such a woobie. You guys are so mean to him :c

I'm amazed that you kept that high-wire intensity for 8k+ words @Omnom. Are we putting Tyri next, or Paimon?

I'm thinking of Paimon because I would like us to go to Paimon's parents house afterwards. I know Tyri hasn't been written for in awhile but we can always have a Tyri post after Paimon post

YEAH LEMME GET U A LIST:

- Bel needs a new full set of armor (since his other armor got TRASHED)
- A new sword because I'm pretty sure he lost that too at the military base, being captured and all

Honestly that's all I can think of that Bel really needs, and I can't see him wanting anything more than that as long as they get their travel stuff back - cuz it's still at the inn they stopped at "for the night" though only Eli slept there, really. Despite any risk Bel will want to sneak back to get his stuff, and also Tabby, Bel's therapy cat, who is still at the inn as well.

I'm not exactly sure what might happen in your post, Chaser. Perhaps we could do a brainstorming session soon?

I am (kind of) back on YWS. I am taking it slow so I don't overwhelm myself. However, of course I can't just not come back to this immediately!! So, what's been going on in the month or two that I've been gone? @Chaser I believe you're up next. How goes it?
