The templates are listed in the spoiler. Please delete anything in the parentheses! That information is there to help you create your character. Your character can either be one of the original friend group or the chosen ones they look for. You can only have one character at the moment, but that might change in the future depending on how many people are interested in the storybook.
Hello! I'm Sae. Since I'm the one running this storybook, please ask me any questions you have. I'll do my best to answer them. I'll be playing the part of the pilot.
This storybook is based heavily on the events of Stargate: Atlantis, but you don't need any knowledge of the actual show to understand the plot. I've made some significant changes for the purposes of this storybook. However, if I don't make things clear about certain aspects of the show, let me know – I'll try to explain them better or link you to a wiki page.
If you're interested in joining, just claim a role here in the DT!
I haven't talked much in here because we're still looking for two more participants, but I thought it would be a good idea to say something now so you all know that this storybook is still going to happen. We're currently looking for a diplomat and technician. I put in a plug for Squills, so hopefully that will help us get more participants! But, if worse comes to worst, we can try merging those roles with other ones that are already taken. I'll wait another week before I do that.
Since we can't actually start the storybook yet, please feel free to start making your character profiles! I'll try to get mine up this week.
(A little side note, but if you like Discord, there's an invite link in the first post for the server!)
Since we still don't have any new members, let's talk about our characters! I've been having trouble deciding on certain features for the pilot, which is why her character profile isn't up yet. I was thinking that she would look like the woman in my current avatar. Her personality is probably going to be a bit like John Sheppard in Stargate: Atlantis - really casual, frequently references pop culture and always seems to lighten the mood.
I've been thinking that my character is good but not nice. They believe in doing the right thing and will do it but the times when you see them throwing caution to the wind is when they think that someone they consider theirs is concerned. They will protect their people with everything that they have, but if you're not one of their people, or if they have no vested interest in you you, they won't go to the ends of the earth for you. I haven't figured out their looks yet though...
