So now what do we do with Maeva? She's in the posts, so we can't just ignore her.

Have her sent to Kyoah for detainment. Incite a statute regarding the sanctity of the human mind in the kingdom. Lord knows Laurel wouldn't hesitate to see a Dark locked away.

I'll do that in the post I'm currently writing.

She wasn't dangerous, and very in charge of her powers. Ah well.

Well, to be fair @Desdemona, you did officially quit the storybook. Lack of cooperation breeds lack of cooperation.

@Desdemona you said "I've decided to quit" and I assumed that meant you were quitting. This I continued the story.

Either way, I hope you find another storybook, and wish you the best of luck. Hope there is no hard feelings.

@Sheyren, @featherstone9086 --> I think I have an idea for a legal defense for Branwen since Dya saw her homunculus acting defensively in the spar, but not offensively.

In short: her homunculi could respond accordingly to emotional stimulus, as trained by the Mage's Guild.

If Kyoah brings up deportation...I'm unsure on that. Would Branwen having a guardian help her case?

I'd imagine so. Also, she does have pretty good control of her homunculi now, so that helps.

I imagine in the end the King would defend her with all these facts, and his word has the most value in council. The Magicians could present all these facts to him before the meeting, and he could present them to council.
