Welcome everyone to Shattered Moons! If you haven't been able to tell yet, yes this is based off of an anime (well, cartoon?) called RWBY. You do not need to watch RWBY to be a part of this SB.

However, the series is fairly short right now, and it would only take you about 5 to 6 hours to marathon it all. I'm not saying that you have to, but you wouldn't be sorry for watching it, it's very good.

Now, first things first, I do want to say that, regarding naming of characters, there is a template. You can read it Here. The basics of it is that your character should be named either a color (Ruby or Emerald), something that makes you think of a color (for example: Torchwick, Sun, Neptune) or something that can mean a color (Yang means "Sun"). The series also has a theme. Whatever you name your character, their clothes has at least something relating to that color or close to it. (Ruby has red clothing, Yang has yellow). This won't be a set rule, but merely a guideline because it can be hard doing this.

Another note is that there will be teams sorted out during the SB. A group of four, with one person being the leader, and the first letter of each person's name will be the name. So, with that reasoning, please no names that start with Xs or Zs or something like that. If I see too many names that start with the same letter, I will ask someone to change. I'm sorry, it'll just be easier for me. I'll be picking the teams, as well.

I'll put my character on the pad asap! Just a quick question (actually, two): What are some examples of semblances, besides the ones already listed? And is it alright if there are two characters with the same color (for example, I want to name my character Orchid, but there's already someone doing purple with the name Amethyst)?

@mage there are actually two purple characters in the works right now (one is on a different pad), so maybe a different color would be good, haha. We don't want everyone to be purple, after all

Only one blue, if I'm right - just the one you see on the pad. I might be wrong, though, I just woke up so I'm still a little scatterbrained xD

And after that, i don't remember - but if you need someone to make you a symbol, just a note, I've been volunteering to do it haha

I was going to take teal, but I noticed there are no yellows, so I've got dibs on that. XD
