Welcome, welcome, welcome to the best camp around for those with, shall we say, not-so-human heritage. Roc or griffin, dragon or banshee, all are welcome in the open arms of Camp Ladon, a summer safehouse far from prying eyes.

This year, there are fifteen campers, six of which are playable! Then there are three counselors, played by the lovely ScarlettFire, AdrianMoon, and yours truly, who will be working hard to keep you little snots in line and keep you safe for the summer. :P And the director? Don't ask about them...you might not like what you hear.

More about our main plot will be revealed as we get into camp, but first, any questions? (To answer one preemptively: A map of the campgrounds will go up fairly soon.)

Sure thing!

Oh, and as a note, I (and my fellow DMs, Adri and Scar ;D) reserve the right to reject characters and request edits to fit with the world. Of course we won't totally wreck your dream character, haha, but we just want to make sure everything's in line.

I was going to comment on that as well. >.< :P

But also, what types of specific creatures are allowed?

Haha, we do need to have fun from time to time :P

As for specific creatures, you can have anything you like! As long as you don't intend to hurt or kill your other campers, you're welcome at Camp Ladon, humanoid or otherwise ^^ The one type that will be totally off-limits is vampires, because this is a camp for teenagers, not eternal beings trapped in the bodies of teenagers :P

But seriously. Don't pee in the lake.

So for example, you can be human but could potentially transform into something. Such as a dragon, or wolf-like creature?

Eh, I'm going to be iffy on shape-shifters. I'd rather have creatures pulled from actual mythology; for example, Scar's counselor is going to be a dragon that has the ability to transform into human shape for a period of time, but they're a dragon, not a human-dragon shapeshifter per se.

And he's territorial. So, uh. Maybe another dragon-related creature would be a bad idea?

So basically anything from mythology (can I just add that Greek Mytholagy is amazing and it's really cool that your formed a SB for the creatures that are in their)? Are we allowed to make up our own species or is that against the rules?
If the world was blind, how many people would you impress?

I would prefer if you just pulled from mythology, rather than creating a species all your own, but don't feel confined to Greek myths only! Feel free to make a creature from Chinese or Norse or Egyptian or Mesopotamian myth, or anything else under the sun!

So out of curiosity, a phoenix would be okay? Like Scar's, it can be human for a period of time but then fully a phoenix though?

I have a few other active SB's consuming my time the moment, so I advised myself against joining another...but this just looks too cool to pass up.

May I join? :P

@Savvy sure thing!

@Eternity sure, why not?

Also a quick note that for the campers, I'd like the ages to fall between 12 and 17 ^^ Just to make sure we're getting the maximum amount of snotty teenager in our summer camp story :P
