I'd like to join! I'll make a CP within a few days or so!

EDIT: could they possibly be a former student from the school that Cornelius taught at?

@jumpingsheep Unfortunately, all of Blunt's students have died at this phase of the story, but you could have your character as a sibling to a student or something of the sort. I wouldn't suggest having such a close profile to him though--he can make a lot of problems for the people he loves, and would kick any students out of New Age if any of them were still alive. Can't stand knowing he caused more death than necessary.

I've already told Dee this, but my character is going to be a whole lot more action-oriented than pretty much everyone else so far. Cause someone's got to be. /claimed

FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES
Let's say that the Proxy has existed for enough time that younger generations would not remember it being any different, but older members of society (such as Cornelius) might. Forty five years?

@DeeDemesne By my calculations forty-five years would put Cornelius at the age of 11 when the takeover occurred, which is too young. I could compromise by making him older, or we could shorten it by several years, maybe thirty. Or a mix of both? (ie, I make Cornelius 60 and we shorten it to 34 years).

Also, separate question--how is everyone else in the world reacting to this? I mean, America is a very powerful nation in present day, so for it to suddenly go Big Brother on all of us would realistically make everyone else go insane. Do we rationalize this by having an Earth-shattering catastrophe (I'm thinking some sort of plague that isn't associated with the zombie apocalypse) that basically ruins the world so much that now everyone is isolated to their own countries and any political problems coming from America won't spill over to any other country, but I can't be so sure.

@SkyeWalker We have our action-orientated person! Awesome. Now I can make evil super scientists without fearing that New Age will die without protection.

Question--as authors, are we all supposed to be supporting the New Age or can one of us just be the vilest writer to all these characters? Because frankly, not trying to destroy all of them wouldn't be as fun.

So this is what happens if Trump takes over... Just kidding, don't mind me. >_>

OOH. IDEA. We need to have a spy from the Proxy somewhere in the New Age headquarters, because more drama is FUN.
