I have an announcement! Tryouts for the fall surf team will be announced in my next post. Tryouts for the fall musical, West Side Story, will be announced in my next post. Concert Band Tryouts (since there is no marching band) to play music for West Side Story will be announced next time I post.
Be thinking about what your charrie will want to participate in. They can do stage crew, set/costume design for West side, performance for West side, or band for West side. It won't be possible for a character to do any combination of the two unless it's something like they're going to do performance OR band and then help.with sets on the side.
For surf team, girls are absolutely able to try out, there will be a surfing men's team and women's team since in reap competitions the heats (rounds) are divided by gender.
And the heart is hard to translate It has a language of its own It talks in tongues and quiet sighs, And prayers and proclamations
