Young Writers Society

An intelligence agency in the United States, Sector 3073, was founded in 5 January 1916 to combat a peculiar comeuppance of supernatural behavior in the United States during World War I. Though the existence of this organization is unknown to all American citizens, as well as many higher levels of the CIA/NSA.

You are a member of this organization, and as an agent--or spy, if you want--it is your sworn duty to route out any demonic presence encountered on any international soil.

Now that the flavor text is out of the way, there are six main slots in the cast, and the remainder will be available as "Smaller Dose" characters. Here's the layout as projected from loyalty:

I'll be posting information in the next week that may be useful, but the plan is to launch this baby on November 22nd. That gives everyone two whole weeks to get profiles in and start discussing chemistry.

Camp most likely as I think I'd prefer lighter-dose.

THAT SAID I'm studying diabetic ketoacidosis right now... Since it's the 1920s, permission to perform an insulin-exorcism on someone?

(They used to use insulin - and also malaria! - to induce seizures to try and help mental illness the way they now use electroconvulsive therapy except, you know, much more horrible. Personally think it would be enjoyable for Sophie to use similar principles to try drive out a demon.)

That's like his whole life savings tripled over in an auto loan from China expensive. And since we're *~spies~*, it'll be tricked out...somehow.

For @Auxiira --> I know that Marquee is important to you, so just know that he'll be coming into the story as a British agent. Either we go to England or he comes to us. I'm not sure which is more likely given the post-WWI state. It's a part of history where I'm foggy on international relationships--though I know the US was isolationist in the 30s, but I doooon't think we quite scratch that period just yet.

We'll be in Chicago for our base of operations (because last round I didn't specify a base location and our travel times got a little weird).

Yes, 1928. Yes, reset - new canon. With no Demhara or whatever her brother's name was. Though I still like the idea of having a demure, roguish agent to foil Kite, so maybe Demi will live on as a rogue spy.

Also yes, @Blackwood, you can redesign Jensen however you want. c: Just as long as he's still Kite's best friend. He really needs a wing man.

There's one main cast slot remaining, and given Kite's disposition, it should likely be male or agender (though it's 1928 so be sure to shoot carefully with it). On the flipside of Kite's disposition, he could totally want to fill his team with gorgeous women because he's a total horndog that way.

Hey, this looks really interesting, could I reserve a main cast slot? And if it's okay with you, Lumi, I'd like my character to be female. Unless you do want a male, then I can make a male, but he'll be a little feminine.
