What @GavintheLawyerCat and I thought would be the decent, democratic thing to do would be to put it to a vote which clan the story takes place in, as all cats are going to be from one clan. Once I have closed the SB, I'll ask everyone privately, then we can get on and start!

The disaster that affects the clan can be altered depending on which clan is chosen. For HillClan it will be quarrying. For OakClan it will remain deforestation. For LakeClan it will be Twolegs creating holiday camps and over-fishing the lake - also speedboats. For MarshClan it will be Twolegs dumping stuff in the Marsh.

Can there be neutral/undecided cats? I was thinking I could make a character with ideas slightly different than the basic ones you outlined, so she'd have trouble deciding.

Sure, that'd work. The problem is who would she talk to within the clan? A lot of the story may be the two sides trying to gather support among cats such as her. I'm totally fine with this as long as she has a personal connection to one of the other cats so she can have relevant interaction

I was thinking I'd have her openly align with one side when they talk, but in reality she has reservations.

Sure, that works very well! The more character development, the better

Oak clan personally.

My personal favourite is LakeClan but that's why it's up to yous

Lakeclan sounds most interesting to me.

Yeah I guess actually Lakeclan would give more opprortunity for interesting writing.

Also, @Meandbooks Whenever I get six characters I'm going to start it so you might want to hurry in case someone randomly submits a character. I'm not sure I can keep track of 7 players :/
