Three Things Coming Up:

While the fight will take place in the SB thread, all loot rolls need to happen here first. Thus, if you want a piece of gear that drops, say so here. I will roll (a) di(e)/ce appropriate with how many people want the piece of gear.

The preliminary roll (1-6) of pieces dropped is Four. From that roll, I conducted four secondary rolls to determine what type of gear dropped. If you can't tell, I like leaving things to chance (also dice rolling yay). You may only roll on a piece that your character may equip (i.e. Alchemists cannot roll on Bows & Arrows; Astronomers cannot roll on Greatswords). Note that armor is non-exclusive to classes, though a stat on a piece of armor may benefit one class more than the other.


Flame Mistress Morten

Boss Info

General Info: Flame Mistress Morten is the leader of the Cult of Burning Oil, succeeding her mentor, Flame Master Warflay. Morten is protected by two bodyguards, both flame users wielding swords. The guards must be defeated before Morten may be engaged. The entire encounter lasts three posts. The Loot Table will be posted in the DT once the encounter is over.

Powers: Her two bodyguards may use powers 1-3. Morten may use all 5.
1. Flaming Charge: You blur through the air towards your enemy, striking them before they can defend. Moderate Damage. Short Recharge.
2. Hell Flare: You launch a beam of blinding fire from your weapon, blinding the enemy for a short time. No Damage. Moderate Recharge.
3. Demon Aura: Surround yourself in unholy flames, overheating your enemy’s weapon and disarming them for a short time. No Damage. Long Recharge.
4. Devil’s Blood: Each melee attack against you splatters burning blood on the enemy, causing burning over time. Moderate Damage. Long Recharge.
5. Dementor’s Flight: You grow fiery wings, bypass your enemy’s defense, and drastically increase attack speed. Extreme Damage. Extreme Recharge.

Stat Info

There are six stats in our game.
Power: Enhances all damage you do; enhances the effectiveness of buffs and bonuses.
Haste: Quickens the cast time of spells, their recharge, and extends the time buffs last on you.
Earth Resistance: Decreases the damage you take from Alchemy-based attacks.
Frost Resistance: Decreases the damage you take from Hydrology-based attacks.
Fire Resistance: Decreases the damage you take from Pyrology-based attacks.
Air Resistance: Decreases the damage you take from Astronomy-based attacks.

Okay. Beckett has been reinvented. And given a sex change.

Refined the stats and condensed the system, as well as made stats visible once again for gear.

Power: Increases damage output and the damage dealt by pets and minions.
Haste: Increases movement speed, attack speed, and recovery rate. Reduces the chance for you to be interrupted while casting.
Defense: Decreases damage taken from physical attacks.
Resistance: Decreases damage taken from elemental attacks.

I mean if you're really good with a whip, and your adversary hasn't fought against one before, you're good to go.

Thing is I was going more in the close confines of a duel. Whip's long range (at least long-ish range) and there wouldn't be any room to actually *wield* it.

I'm still waiting to see Leigh use a chain. That's a duel Danny would be sure not to miss.
