Hi guys! So this is just the beginning, and we'll continue to add and change this as we go along. But I've created a spreadsheet to help us with plotting/character. Right now I have a character map of sorts where we can fill in what relationships each character has with each other, what one thinks of the other, etc. I'll probably hold a specific plotting session where we can fill this in, and later we'll add another tab for the arcs we'd like our characters to go through and how it'll factor into the plot, but this right now is for your benefit to browse and add your characters when you post your profile
Hey guys, sorry I've been away but things have been crazy since I've been moving into uni. Waiting on @Lumi and @Rydia (if she decides to join) to post their character profiles, and then we'll move ahead with planning our plotting/character sessions. I've already talked to a couple people to brainstorm character relationships, and I encourage you guys to do the same, especially since SBs are very character-driven. We'll go into more depth once we all meet, but that doesn't mean the conversations can start now.

Also I was curious while making it, what is the final year of education in this community? I'm guessing 15 or 16 because that's a young age and allows them to have time for apprenticeship or whatever other study they need for their specific roles? (Plus Carson joined Guard at 16...so..)
I believe in that, which is not seen. I call it truth, faith, hope, life.

I think education for boys end when their 15-16, but the girls end at 12-13 (you know, because in a civilization with 10,000 BC-traditions/lifestyle, girls used to marry at that age and learn the complex skills of being a housewife/mother {and yes, I am a History fanatic, so I know all of this})

Hmm, I was curious if this society even had education, but I figured every society has. Since there are already female characters who are not married and are like 22 I think it would be okay if my character wasn't married and instead chose to study to become a teacher. Because there has to be knowledge passed down right? I guess also then that my character would only teach the girls and men would teach the boys?

Wouldn't the men have less of an education than women? So they could go to their apprenticeship faster. I would think that boys start apprentice-ing at 9-10 at the earliest...
Well if you read my profile my character married at nineteen. I mean we can change it but I think we need some uniformity. There's no reason why the boys would have a longer education than the girls really? I mean if it's a farming/market kind of community they're all going to go their separate ways and learn their trades at the same time. For instance if a husband is working the wife is probably the one tending the farm (I imagine Miri is a farm labourer since her husband was a hunter).
Plus, this is a fictional setting! We can do whatever we want. There doesn't need to be any gender disparities if we don't want them
