I've updated the Leveling Table in The Big Book Of Spells & Other General Knowledge to include two new features:

1. In-Combat Weapon Swapping
2. Gold Bonuses ranging from 110% to 150% earned.

I hope I did everything right with everyone's characters I'm sorry if I didn't DDDD:

♦ All gear is now visible to all Storybook members, including gear worn/used by Marla, Cassius, and Alexander.
♦ We've reached our first dungeon:

Tainted Forest Of The Elder Tree

This dungeon has the following content that must be checked off before we encounter the boss:
♦ 8 Corrupted Wild Animals (May be combat encounters or already dead from poisoning)
♦ 2 Corrupted Forest Wardens (May be combat encounters; only one may be dead)
♦ 1 Malignant Fog Beast (Must be a combat encounter)

After these things have been checked off the list, we'll have our first boss fight, which will be fun. I haven't decided who/what it will be because I need to consult with my plot buddies first.

How much for a set of throwing knives? (like, the nice kind - resembling kunai but with a flatter blade with like ribbons on them think Naruto) And a scimitar/khopesh.

The rough notes I made for myself when doing the market:

1-Handed Weapons: 20% Gold Each
2-Handed Weapons: 40% Gold
Chest: 15% Gold
Legs: 15% Gold
Feet: 10% Gold
Back: 10% Gold
Utility Items (i.e. Healing Herbs): Such small amounts of gold it doesn't matter.

ETA: There's a discount algorithm I'm keeping hidden that reduces your total price by 3% for every thousand gold you have. That means if you have 34,000 gold, you break my algorithm and owe me a new one. ;D No, really. Just spend some cash before you reach 34k or I'll drop the discount percentage accordingly.

If you're buying a piece of armor that goes up a rank in defensive power (i.e. changing from cloth to leather or leather to mail), you add an extra 10% to the price. The next armor level unlocks at level 9 for Alchemists, Pyrologens, and Hydrologists, and Alchemists gain Plate Armor at level 15.

I'm gonna go ahead and ask now for my post and then if I have to change when after then I'll change the post. If you go from cloth armor to plate armor, do you add 20% to the price? or is that sort of jump not allowed?

I didn't really intend for it, but I'll allow it. Just bump up the price by 10% for every stage of armor you're bypassing.

The exception to this rule is the Astronomer. I don't want you guys wearing anything but cloth for the time being.

That wolf fight scene was really fun to write actually. I can't wait to see how everyone else writes it!
