I finished the five poems that related to my theme, so all other poems from here on out are going to be more random and relating to various vague things I've been thinking about. Just a heads up!
aaah I just have to say you've captured so many of my feelings about the universe and life completely perfectly in those first five poems, I could've never put it so precisely into words like that asdhfjaksdf
I love your repetition of "i am okay" / "we are okay" throughout several of your poems, it's really grounding and it works super well to balance abstract musings with a single simple phrase.
OOh and that little four-point list in poem #5 is one of my favourite chunks, especially "we are specks of dust in this floating hunk of rock" ! You're so good at striking the middle ground between matter-of-fact and poetic and I think that comes through awesomely here <3

honestly this is nearly word for word the thought process I go through when I'm trying to stop anxiety from catastrophizing everything hehe

Carina!!!! I'm obsessed with your themed poems. They are simple and yet so profound. Honestly, the simplicitiy is incredible. I love how the theme developed. It's nihilistic but comforting. As someone with anxiety, I find comfort in knowing that nothing matters. You did a beautiful job of showing that. I think a lot of people are afraid of the meaningless but there is actually freedom in it. <3 also I love the cat and rooster poems. Your way of writing is very nice to read. The simplicitiy and intentional repeition is *chef's kiss*
